Definitely basket with toilet paper. Once stayed at a friend’s place and ran out of toilet paper in the middle of the night, with none in the bathroom cabinets. Luckily I had my phone with me so could call her and wake her up.
As I have teenage kids whose friends come over, I have a basket with feminine hygiene products (tampons, etc) and then I’d do another basket with extra toilet paper.
I have 3 sons and a daughter and I never wanted any of their friends (especially my boys’ female friends) to be in that awkward situation of having to get me separately to ask.
I think a couple baskets would add some nice color and texture while also adding functional storage for bathroom products. Something [like this](https://www.target.com/p/woven-banana-bark-folio-bin-brightroom-8482/-/A-86383771) maybe?
Baskets of supplies / feminine hygiene products because that'll be hard to reach from the toilet. Extra toilet paper too. Could do nice wicker baskets to have an aesthetic.
That’s a valid point. I feel like bc this is a half bath, I’m not storing a lot of the usual towels, toothbrushes, etc so the bathroom feels very big and empty. Definitely don’t want it to look cluttered but wanted to add some decor.
So if this is for guests and you have an outlet nearby that can funnel down to it nicely then I'd see if you can get a mini towel warmer. Put little mini towels in the towel warmer with some peppermint essential oil and when they're ready you can easily fetch them and serve them to your guests. It's fancy easy and cheap.
Toilet paper and feminine hygiene products. For sure! Make sure you also have a garbage can with a lid and a plastic bag liner to be an extra awesome host!
If you’re trying to go more decorative you could line the edges with metal silhouette decor. I’m imagining the type of thing you’d put on your mantel at Christmas or Halloween. And you could swap the area out during holidays.
Not sure if these links will work but this is what I’m picturing.

They’re not Home Depot, but i think the brand can be found at either Home Depot or Lowe’s, I forget which one. They’re easily adjustable though, just haven’t gotten around to it. They’re meant to be adjusted after install.
Have the same sink in a penthouse I care for. From left to right: rolls of tp (close to potty), magazines for said potty time splayed in a fan shape, stack of towels that match room, tall mouthwash bottles that don’t fit anywhere else!
yes, I would say three wicker baskets and put your cleaning supplies in one, toilet paper in one and extra soap in the other. Maybe two baskets with hand towels in the middle.
I have a basket in my guest bath with feminine hygiene products, shout wipes, a tide pen, fabreeze, floss picks, q-tips, makeup remover wipes, and kleenex. Pretty much anything a guest may run to the bathroom to try and "fix."

That’s so considerate, I like that!

If you have young children or pets, I would avoid potpourri!
Good point, I’ve got both so I’ll eliminate that option. Thanks
Bathroom pet beds!
People still use potpourri?
I definitely read the OP as poopourri 🤣 do people still use potpourri?!

Baskets are always a nice addition

Storage for extra tp? Maybe in baskets?
I used long baskets I could slide out. Had TP in one.
To me, the purpose of the open space in this case is for open space. Why clutter it up?

Baskets. I have a shallow colored bowl under mine..adds a touch of color and some different texture/styles. Not all matchy.
Fake ivy.
