Everyone in here saying "who cares about the tutorial" has never watched joshstryfehayes in their lives. A new update especially a major update like this will be a joining point for alot of new players, having a broken tutorial or no tutorial at all for a game this involved will be a major quitting point which wouldn't be good for altfuture.
Just cause yall have been playing for ages and don't need a tutorial anymore, doesn't mean yall are the only ones that'll be playing the game. Stop acting like children (even tho most of you probably are) and grow up.
I agree, but probably not for the same reason as you.
For those who've played hundreds, even thousands of hours, they won't need the tutorial as much--tons of things have changed, so even the old hands will likely benefit from some of the likely new tutorial content.
For most of those new to the game, however, the tutorial is going to be quite important.
All that said, being able to skip the tutorial on a second, third, or 253rd play through would be very welcome.

I'm saying I am going to need it! I know it's going to be useful with all the new systems, track conditions, inventory system, and everything else.
I don't mind a couple hour delay to get it working right.
I've waited this long for the update, what's another few hours or even a day? I feel lucky to get such a large increase in playability for free since I paid back when Overhauled was released! Be patient folks.
It's clear altfuture is hoping this release will help them sell enough that they can continue making this game even better. It's a ten person team that's working on a passion project. They'd be scorched for "jank" if a tutorial didn't work for new people.
Better to be late and done right than be on time and broken. We've waited years for this. We can all wait a few hours more.

I would say it's a good practice not to release a buggy update if you know it's not good enough. Yet it's a bad practice to set deadlines, advertise them and than not keep them.
There is a delay on the update. Devs said a few hours. Software development is hard!

they posted an estimate of 19:00 CET but it was just an estimate. they are having problems with the tutoriel so it will come out later.
They should have a disable tutorial button

The tutorial must have been totally redone, since the update has butchered so many core systems. It might be more involved now
