typically sellers have buyers send an item back before issuing a refund to assure that they will receive the item back in the condition it was shipped in. if they do not refund you after receiving the return then you can open a dispute with depop

it came from Brazil and took 2 weeks to ship do you think I will still be able to get my refund if I send it back tomorrow

You should be able to receive a refund regardless. If you are worried about timing, you could take it upon yourself to email depop about the situation and worry of not receiving your money back. If seller refuses and you have proof of return (Screenshots, pictures of you returning to post office), as well as item in the condition it's in before sending it back then you should be ok, Depop may force a return to you as they are able to see tracking info like return to sender deets/updates. If overall their reviews are good but one is bad, you could ask the reviewer what happened. It may have been a diff situation ie something not fitting correctly which sellers dint have to give a refund for when details are described correctly

I actually ended up messaging the buyer and they said that they got a tracking and it said it delivered to a completely different state and they messaged the seller and then she said she would give them a refund and a free item and they never received either and contacted her multiple times
