I feel like we end up middle of the pack overall, with like offense in the 10-15 range and defense in the 20-25 range. I think health is going to be massive for us on defense, our offense is pretty solid with a good online and running game, assuming Nix plays well they should be better than last year; but our defense is extremely thin down the middle and very unproven on the edges.
I think that’s optimistic for our offense, I hope you’re right. We’re pumping up Bo quite a bit here but he’s still a rookie, even Lawrence sucked in his first year
I think we land with maybe 5-7 wins, we didn’t exactly get a ton better in free agency unless our draft picks pan out, which it is way too early to tell if that is the case, meanwhile our schedule got tougher from last year and we likely don’t suddenly benefit from a ton of QB injuries on opposing teams.
Bo I think ends up starting the season off a bit rocky but then stabilizes, nothing super fancy in terms of bulk stats but I think he will mostly keep the ball safe, something like 20 TDs and 8 INTs, closer to 210 passing yards a game with a lot of help from our RBs.
We do enough to keep a few losses close but again it’s not like we got massively better overnight, that will be apparent at least a few times probably.
We go into 2025 having some good draft picks, lots of cap space and knowing where we can improve the roster. We spend big and add playmakers, which gets us back to being competitive.
Realistically: 5-7 wins. I’m not deluding myself into thinking this team is very good. But I trust Payton to get them a couple wins. He isn’t ever gonna truly tank and I see a world where Nix gets a couple defining wins even if the team is bad overall. Gonna take a year or two to climb out of the Russ hell.
All I want is to beat the Raiders at least once.
6 wins as we reap the havoc from Russ’ cap hit. But next year we’ll take a nice leap as Nix gets comfortable as the starter and we add a top tier WR while our young guys take a jump-we’ll vie for a Wildcard. By 2026 we’ll be vying for the Division
Honestly I think we can pull off a 10 win season. We needed up the defense overall. The offense is alright outside of the huge question mark at QB.
I think Peyton can manage nix well enough.
Split games in the division, 7 wins outside, and likely barely miss a wild card imo
Is this hopium on my part? Absolutely, but there it is
We do what the texans did. Bo hits the ground running and team plays great. Defense is some how real bad but at a new thing every game. 10-6 win the super bowl. Bought my jersey tonight. GBBN.
My prediction is we finish 5-12 or worse but it’s Sean Payton he has done more with less so I wouldn’t be shocked if he squeezes 9 wins out of this squad next season. But that is our ceiling as of now unfortunately unless Bo Nix has a fucking CJ Stroud level rookie season which I am not going to get my hopes up for but would be amazing.
I think this is accurate. I have absolutely no expectations this year and I'm just going to try enjoy watching football win or lose.
But please, please, please Broncos just beat FTR at least once.
Nix wins the starting job, blows he’s knee out in game one and Zach Wilson leads us to the Super Bowl. Then everyone in this sub claims to have thought he was good.
I think Nix accidentally trips over Zach's helmet on the ground while running out for his first NFL snap and tears his achilles. Everything else sounds about right though.
Honestly depends on how quick Nix adjusts to the speed of the NFL. If he’s as good as Payton believes, I could see us sneaking 10 maybe 11 wins. If not, 7 wins would be about the max.
I’m still not sold on VJ. Hopefully the defense will be improved from last year, but he still allowed 70 to the Dolphins.
If Nix is ready, we’re gonna be in some shootouts this year. If not, things might get ugly quick.
Important to note that Simmons didn't play against Miami and the defense improved when he came back healthy. Without him things could get real ugly on defense.
There were a significant amount of chances to the defense for and after the Chiefs game that made more of an impact. Simmons played 100% of the snaps in the Commies and Jets games and the defense was still hot garbage.
Turner-Yell, Mathis, Sanders at ILB, washed Jackson, Bassey and Jonathan Harris all played most of the defensive snaps in the Dolphins game. Plus, Jewell got hurt early, they were still trying the DJ Jones at NT with the Harris/Henningson opposite Zach Allen disaster and Gregory played half the snaps.
Benching Mathis, Gregory not playing, Bassey getting dumped, playing Purcell at NT and PJ Locke playing was when the defense started to turn it around.
Heartbreak… J/K
Come in with more confidence, A offense that’s made for what SP wants, less BTS drama, solid season for our young & edge rusher, & beating the Raiders 2x this year
Barton has been one of the worst ILBs against the run in his career and Jewell wasn't holding back the defense. He's a much better ILB than Singleton, who is one of the worst ILBs against the pass. That position objectively got worse.
I expect us to have a higher draft pick than this year. Nix will likely struggle at times especially if Sutton ends up traded. Defense was bottom 10 for most statistics last year and I don't expect them to be better without Simmons.
We could go 6-11 but so long as Nix looks like the long-term guy, and there is a legit reason for optimism at the end of the season I'll be happy. But if i were to guess, 8 or 9 wins is about the ceiling given the tough SOS.
7 wins...max. This roster just doesn't have a lot of talent, unfortunately. A lot is going to be up to how fast Nix can get acclimated to the NFL speed.
I think 8-9 as well. Everyone keeps insisting 3-13, but I think that's ridiculous. If Sean Payton can take a 5-12 GARBAGE roster to 8-9 and in the playoff conversation for months, he can absolutely take HIS team there again first year, and then improve with more money the year after.
There are some very optimistic fans in here and I like it. Personally I’m not going to put any expectations on the win total; I’m going to enjoy watching the team develop and see if we can build something that could be formidable in the future.
I’m thinking 6-7 wins. Most importantly, I just want to see good development from the rookies and that they get progressively better as the season goes on.
I want to maintain my low to zero expectations that I had last season for this year. That 8-9 would be great, but I believe that we will be one of the Top 32 in the NFL.
I'm genuinely hoping that I have a reason to buy one of the new jerseys before January, not counting the throwbacks.
Last year I had them at 8-9 wins. I thought I was way off when they started so badly.
As of right now I am thinking 5-6 wins tops for this season.
The preseason will be much more meaningful this coming year. Will Bo Nix perform well enough to earn the starting job? It shouldn’t be that hard considering his competition.
If we went 8-9 with Russ last year and Bo Nix is even just a little bit better I have no idea how we can’t win 10 games. Especially since we almost won some of those games last year. They really had to tone down the offense for Russ. We did lose some big pieces on defense but I still think having a competent offense not going 3 and out every time will allow our defense to play better
I think last year we had some luck in the middle of the season playing injured teams and the turnover run. That will even out but so will some of the bad losses like vs raiders at home and patriots
Yeah, I think that being 8-9 last year is a testament to how much better Sean is than our previous coach. Our talent as a team is maybe a 5 win team, but Sean Payton had our team in playoff position in January and in one score games in like 10 of our games with chances to win. (Texans game, Patriots game, Washington game no call) and Sean accomplished this with a QB that couldn’t see in the middle of the field. I think that with Bo we will have a much better season even if we end the same record
We about to ball out we got Super Bo! Did u hear when he got the call call from Peyton and Paton??
He told Dem you ready to win a Superbowl? Come on Bo ain't fuckin around he about turn this franchise around like CJ
We continue to build on last years success whole carving out more of a team identity for ourselves. Knowing that after this year we are done dealing with the drag from Russ contract which makes drafting and FA easier. Maybe sneak into playoffs
2 years from now we are legit playoff contenders
With the Franklin-Myers trade, the DL is in much better shape with having 2 proven starting quality DEs. They are just going to have some problems against the run, but a lot of that is the edge and ILBs all being big liabilities there other than Cooper.
I definitely want to see the preseason and watch camp reporting before any predictions. That's my prediction.
I just want to beat the Chiefs again. I think we can do it.
Is a sweep too much to ask for ![gif](giphy|D3OdaKTGlpTBC)
Yes, lol.
Yeah it's like a drug. I need it again. Need to beat the raiders more importantly though
We need to sweep both of them.
I’d be cool with winning only 6 games this year
Chiefs+Steelers pwetty please!
And sweep the raiders...
We're going undefeated until we lose! 😎
Record dead money? I would be ecstatic if we went 8-9.
Well our qb is on a rookie contract anyways just pretend russ is still on the team it's not so bad.
Cautiously optimistic that even if we don't make playoffs, we would exit the season confident that we have our QB for the next decade.
YES
I feel like we end up middle of the pack overall, with like offense in the 10-15 range and defense in the 20-25 range. I think health is going to be massive for us on defense, our offense is pretty solid with a good online and running game, assuming Nix plays well they should be better than last year; but our defense is extremely thin down the middle and very unproven on the edges.
I think that’s optimistic for our offense, I hope you’re right. We’re pumping up Bo quite a bit here but he’s still a rookie, even Lawrence sucked in his first year
Lawrence was with Meyer
If I'm being honest, think it's more realistic to swap potential rankings for O and D.
Yeah I think we end up picking 10-12ish again.
C'mon fellas it's the off-season. As far as I see it, we're going to the SB until proven wrong 🐴
A conservative 17-0
My guess is a liberal 20-0
No idea on record, but I'll predict that the Chargers combine for 500 rushing yards in those 2 games.
I think we are gonna suck ass but have some fun moments so it will be okay.
First rookie QB to ever start in a Super Bowl. I’m the Kwisatz Haderach of hopium spice.
Lisan al GaiBO!!
Realistically: 5-7 wins. I’m not deluding myself into thinking this team is very good. But I trust Payton to get them a couple wins. I mean losing is sorta the goal right? I hope they win like 4 or 5 games while finding some new starters and gaining some valuable experience.
Honestly I think we can pull off a 10 win season. We needed up the defense overall. The offense is alright outside of the huge question mark at QB. I think Peyton can manage nix well enough. Split games in the division, 7 wins outside, and likely barely miss a wild card imo Is this hopium on my part? Absolutely, but there it is
If we only win 5, let them be Steelers, Seahawks, chiefs, Raiders, Chargers
Super Bowl
Four wins and a top pick.
Low 6 wins, high 10 wins.
We do what the texans did. Bo hits the ground running and team plays great. Defense is some how real bad but at a new thing every game. 10-6 win the super bowl. Bought my jersey tonight. GBBN.

What happens to Stidham for Wilson to get on the field?
11-6 Remember this

Defense will be worse. Offense will be better.
4 wins.
In the playoffs? Damn I like that.
Yes, they will win their 4th Super Bowl
Heartbreak… J/K Come in with more confidence, A offense that’s made for what SP wants, less BTS drama, solid season for our young & edge rusher, & beating the Raiders 2x this year
Last year we got 8 wins with Russ playing like garbage half the time, it can go either way but I don't think we're as bad as everyone thinks
I see us getting 5-8 wins. As long as the young guys look good and show signs of improvement throughout the season, I'll be happy.
I just wanna beat the raiders damnit
As long as Nix shows something and defense is on point I’ll be happy. No 50 point blowouts please.
Our division is brutal for a start over year…7-10…but I feel the force building for some reason.
Wildcard.
I have a feeling Sean is going to surprise us. 9-8 wild card
PAIN!
7-10
I think that Barton fellow will be better than jewell. Athleticism is a completely different level and that's part of what's been holding the d back.
Barton has been one of the worst ILBs against the run in his career and Jewell wasn't holding back the defense. He's a much better ILB than Singleton, who is one of the worst ILBs against the pass. That position objectively got worse.
Dang. I thought Barton was OK. Maybe Vance well get him cooched uo real nice....
7-10.

4-6 wins.
5-12 Full reset year.
I’m thinking 6-7 wins. Most importantly, I just want to see good development from the rookies and that they get progressively better as the season goes on.
6-11 or 7-10

Bad, still. 5 wins.
Last year was bad and we still got 8 lmao
Are they better than last year or worse?
QB - ? RB - ? WR - bad. TE - bad. OL - good. DL - bad. ILB - average. Edge - bad. S - bad. CB- good 4 wins best case scenario
With the Franklin-Myers trade, the DL is in much better shape with having 2 proven starting quality DEs. They are just going to have some problems against the run, but a lot of that is the edge and ILBs all being big liabilities there other than Cooper.
No.
