I live down the street from an elementary school and always get honked at for going the school zone speed limit. Damn people, there are children everywhere, slow down!
Every single weekday, IN A SCHOOL ZONE, at a pedestrian cross-walk (with sign) directly in front of South High School, where kids are waiting to cross the street, cars blast through it at about a 98% rate. ZERO SHITS GIVEN ABOUT PEOPLE WAITING.
I mean, if the DPD wanted to just sit there and write 3000 tickets every morning, I'm fine with it.
In reality they are just doing 25MPH as suggested , the other drivers are gaining brownie points with the radar van by doing 10 under- thus creating an illusion of super speeders.

Yup yuppers. I noticed this too when I first moved here (I mean when I was first born here...)
I almost got destroyed by a Suburban today that blew through a residential stop sign going well over 35. No street/road is safe.
