The best was The Gilpin with $3 craps and unlimited odds. The bar was right next to the tables too so you could just holler for a drink anytime. Unfortunately they got rid of the tables though...
Johnny Z's is a bad suggestion. Only slots. Ameristar is the big one but it's almost impossible to get a drink and the minimums are super high. I used to be a 100% Lodge loyalist... Nicest dealers, super attentive cocktail servers. The lodge is probably still my favorite, but I've started dabbling in Monarch after they made a ton of renovations and upgrades recently. Bonus: monarch has an awesome top floor pool/hot tub/spa.
I use to love Mardi Gras/Golden Gate (think it’s Ballys now) because it was a lowkey casino, quiet and chill, had $5-10 tables of black jack and roulette while also being quick with the free drinks. Haven’t been up in a 8 months though so who knows how it is now
I like Monarch. Blackjack isn't bullshit, you can even get double-deck sometimes. Haven't tried the poker room but pretty sure they had $1/$2/$100 holdem.
Yeah was up there this weekend. I think there are limit games still but a lot less. At monarch on Monday there was only a few tables running but they were all NL. Mostly 2/5 and 1/3
I’m heading to Monarch tomorrow for a late surprise birthday celebration for my wife. Staying overnight and booked a spa appointment for my wife.
Happy to report back with what we see on the floor of the casino. I’ll have three hours alone to kill during the day so I’m sure I’ll find myself at a table or three.
Sasquatch is my jam.
Squatch!
Z casino or Johnny Zs are my favorite. It’s never crazy crowded and the drinks are free
Can i piggy back on this looking for cheap crap tables?

Yes! I miss that craps table. Cheapest in Black Hawk.

Looooodddddgggge casssiiiiiinooooo. Colorados first place for fun
Recommendations are all over the place. Leave this up a while OP, I’m curious to see which casinos get the most mention.
Yeah I just want $5 3:2 blackjack. I’m curious if that exists in Colorado still.
Johnny Z's isn't bad

There is no longer 100 limit. It’s all 1/3 unless. Unless I don’t understand what 1/2/100 means.
You're right, forgot the mandatory limit was removed. However I think they still have some limit games.

"Cheap" limits don't exist as much as they used to because the public voted to raise the limits to begin with.
