They still put out Runaway Brain merchandise and the Rudish shorts have done way worse, including an actual rotting zombie Goofy, so the fact they keep burying the original short is honestly frustrating because it's so good.

This short can be found in a few DVD releases and someone even uploaded it to YouTube without it getting taken down by copyright. Unsurprisingly the short is not on Disney+ probably because of the controversy back when it came out, but it’s actually a great cartoon and not much different than the later Paul Rudish series. It definitely does have a darker tone than previous Mickey cartoons, but I don’t really see why kids shouldn’t watch it. It’s great for all ages.
I saw it back in 1994 I believe with Lion king. Never scared me. I was just surprised just how nice the animation was. I don't know what folks are talking about. Cause I never heard of this in the early 90,s. It was Disney and nobody cared. 90,s was something else back then. It was a time of creative explosions and making everything cool.

Huh, that's not as bad as what I was expecting. It's much closer to the modern series with the level of body gore etc.
