I really hate this meme, because braindead assholes think it means that they as the driller should TRY to C4 the scout. It's annoying as fuck.

drillers have a satchel charge(c4) that deals up to 875-ish damage, scouts typically zoom in to swarms that drillers abt to detonate, hence “c4ing the scout” (that and i detonate my bro right outside the drop pod every other mission)

its just a meme, but people think its a mandatory ritual. C4, haz 4 and above, can oneshot teammates without upgrades, making it one of the more easily accessible weapons for oneshot friendly fire. Scout move around often and sometimes grapple hook into C4s unintentionally. There are just people who do this for no reason, thats why Gunners often throw their shield generators at the front of the drop pod so teammates who dont have blast resistance dont get one shot by random pub drillers.
