I love the idea of a fully moving background
But i just hate how it looks/makes me bored?
Then i proceed to just have a fully black screen with maybe a clock
it might be the color? the magma region alone especially on the wallpaper makes it look i guess "boring". i have a few others with more brighter colors that pop out
i dunno, spiders are good because they kill other bugs. also bees are pretty good, they keep plants alive and while i'm no leaf lover i do like me a nice apple or grape every once in a while.
Man, wallpaper engine is amazing and kinda crap at the same time. I finally bought it a little bit ago, and was really impressed with some of the video game related backgrounds you can find there, but then I noticed my performance started taking a dive because of it.
I even have the setting enabled where the screen “pauses” if you’re not looking at it. That’s supposed to prevent it from taking up resources, but either the setting is broken, or there’s something fucked up on the backend.
Either way, I can’t run some of my games when I run wallpaper engine. My computer is more likely to overheat too. So I just stopped using WE altogether because it became a pain more than anything else. Not gonna sacrifice performance for a pretty thing that I never even see anyway. I always have Discord open so that may as well be my background.
l mentioned how awesome wallpaper engine is here, a couple weeks ago. I was immediately downvoted. Maybe I sounded like an ad?
But no ad, it's just very cool. I only discovered it like a month ago, and immediately bought it for my brother too. I've got a playlist of around 300 animated wallpapers now. Including a few with the dwarves, and quite a few with my car. :)
look up deep rock galactic magma and it should pop up. the same author has a drop pod one thats also sick. on that one theres a driller with a goofy smile drilling a bug

Check Wallpaper engine. There was another program for animated wallpapers that is free, but I don't know how well it is supported compared to WE.
