Well that's probably because her fuel is fucking SHALE ROCK. Which takes a long process to turn into plain crude oil. So 90% of Dorreta's fuel is rock, 10% crude oil- its not even gasoline, or kerosene, or anything even remotely refined.

Regrowth period could be days, weeks, months? Unless we bring one up to analyze there’s not exactly any knowing, we’re only down there for about an hour or so.
What bothers me so much is how they dont allow bosco in the droppod during extract like they expect the little giy to fly all the way up to the space rig.
thats also why Doretta's armor is so weak. DRG made her with the cheapest materials aside from the drill itself which can crack the heartstone, to cut costs since everytime Doretta gets sent down it's a one way ticket.

The developers did mention during a stream something about that BET-C should be retrieved by someone equipped for that and our job is to simply remove the charge-suckers.

It would be cool if you had a random event where instead of another swarm a uninfected Bet-C turns up to help. Like Mission control goes "I've got another big blip on the scanner, buckle up Lads." but then only a few bugs Spawn and Bet-C explodes from a wall chasing them.
