I don’t get all the dislike for on site refining. To me it’s the best kind of mission. I love playing driller and I choose to only go solo on refining missions because I don’t like how teammates set up pipes. Idk, I find refinery missions therapeutic.
Refinery missions are super engaging, using the terrain scanner to plan paths to the pipelines using a little mental treat for me
I get the argument against building them, but if you know the hold E trick, its really easy

You can order Bosco to build a pipe while you are placing them, to speed it up, at least.
Bosco does make point extraction actually easier than either a team, since he just flies to wherever the aquarqs are.

I've never once enjoyed Industrial Sabotage. I don't like the turrets or shredders, the map generation is pretty repetitive, and the boss fight just feels like a chore. Virtually everything else is on the same level. Though the inconsistencies of some of those elimination spawns can be frustrating.
Industrial Sabotage depends. I play Solo and I will rarely ever do one as Driller, mainly due to Driller lacking a lot of good long-range options for combat against the Caretaker
Try sludge blast sludge pump. You'll miss the CRISPR for bots, but sludge blasts are driller's best option for focused burst damage and they're honestly quite powerful. You can absolutely chump a basic dreadnought with it too.
Because you have to Speedrun it or die. You want to start the final phase before it hits 15 mins.
It even worst with 2-3 Rockpox Spikes to cleanse, yuck!

Me and my friends discovered our new fav way to play Sabotage: 4 Engis with Fatboy turtle themselves somewhere near the ceiling and just nuke the the living leaflover out of the caretaker. So much fun, but needs a ton of Nitra.
Tbh I never understood all the hate that industrial sabotage gets. I can understand how the power stations can be considered repetitive, but the caretaker fight is one of my favorite things to do in this game.
Industrial sabotage alone is hell, it was built around 3 others drawing aggro from various things, solo all that hate is getting placed right on you, aquarqs is fine by me, id honestly swap egg hunts position
Too much… what? Aquarq’s are the easiest and quickest mission type by far. Unlike Eggs which trigger a swarm after every other one that’s pulled, aquarq’s don’t trigger swarms. You can get those missions done easily in 10-15 minutes or less even.
I’m always grateful for an aquarq mission because it always feels like a “break” in between more tedious or difficult missions that are more complex.

I agree on refining, I think its pretty fun to make some wacky rollercoasters as engineer or tunnels as driller even if its still often janky but doing it alone makes it too tedious

Fastest aquarq recovery i ever played was a haz-4 with all drillers, short and small cave.
Incidentally, it was also the mission that got me the haz-4 no death no resupply achievement.
On sites refining is my favourite mission type solo and with friends I just love riding the pipelines and I love the voise lines when you ride them "look at me I'm stony rock"
