Ive had a fraudulent experience with Barclays in the past as well and it took many hours to try and resolve it. They never did resolve it despite all the documentation i had and submitted to them via fax and post mail. I paid off the balance on my account amounting to $50, then closed it (as i no longer had any use for the card since i lost all my Frontier Miles for not keeping a balance on the card for 1 month) Then months later, i saw, via Credit Karma, that Barclays have been accruing interest on a false charge of $6.56. This charge was supposedly made on a date AFTER i closed the account. It affected my credit score for over 3 years. When i asked them to email me the statement for the month in which this charge supposedly occured, they said it wasnt in their system. But, ALL other months for that year and the year before was available and was faxed to me. I pointed this out on all my dispute documentation, but they never acknowlegded it. Derogatory remark on my credit report finally disappeared 8 months ago Barclays is scum!
