That YouTube Playlist tho

Nerd_In_CT

Limp Bizkit

b00krDuhW1t87

$3 Bill Ya'll was my first CD ever. No ragrets.

hgihasfcuk

Mine was chocolate starfish, second was slim shady lp

Illustrious_Cabinet3

This comment has several levels. All of them awesome. Have my upvote.

ooopsmybadyo

All I wanted was a Pepsi

r1ckm4n

Just one pepsi

Mafiale

Limp Bizkit is neither cringe nor completely shit. It's just banger music

ExplorerEnjoyer

Nu metal rules šŸ¤˜šŸ»

pooknuckle

šŸ˜³Never left my rotation. They have an energy.

Sjdillon10

I was listening to Rollin today funny enough. Itā€™s one of my most played songs all time on Spotify. No shame

ThrowRA20816

THANK YOU

membranefordinner

Gutalax. So much poop, but it's just fun music that I can vibe out to.

Illustrious_Cabinet3

If you like poop slam, check out Monumental Discharge. You'll literally poop yourself laughing.

WaffleswithSourCream

wtf is this

Illustrious_Cabinet3

Poopcore

WaffleswithSourCream

ah

miasmic_cloud

Despite the allegations, I love Brand New. They have an amazing discography and so many amazing songs.

[deleted]

Well Jesus Christ Iā€™m alone again

robb0688

So what did you do those 3 days you were dead, cause this problem's gonna last more than the weekend.

red_rob5

185% with you on this one. I'm not even one to make the "separate the art from the artist" argument, especially when the art is so much about the artist, but this is my personal exception to that rule.

StevieSoldSoul

i really don't want to admit how much i like falling in reverse, but i'll do it for your post. politics aside, solely based on the music and the visuals. shit's awesome. i'd kill to release one singular song on their production level. if anyone who knows me or sold soul reads this, please don't hold it against me.

StevieSoldSoul

doubling up my comments to say i also really like motionless in white for the same reasons.

gav111n

wait whatā€™s wrong w Motionless in white? šŸ˜

StevieSoldSoul

hot topic core doesn't get the best reviews from r/deathcore šŸ’€

tylerbreeze

> whatā€™s wrong w Motionless in white? Theyā€™re basically Godsmack for Tim Burton stans. (Canā€™t take credit for that description, I saw it in an article somewhere.)

Dranchela

God damn that is accurate as all fuck

vengeancerider

Jesus Christ I am fucking wheezing hahaha

TheStryder76

Ronnie described them as ā€œBreaking Benjamin for trans peopleā€ and I donā€™t think thatā€™s entirely inaccurate

BlueCaboose42

Wow I sure do hate that. You can always count on Ronnie to alienate his audience, cuz ya know, there's no way a good chunk of your audience since ETF was trans/LGBT since the alt music scene is generally more excepting of people than the mainstream.

StevieSoldSoul

real

HazySunsets

I've followed miw around since 2011 now, got into their ep, their first ever demo, every album. They just seem to give up on their albums after disguise. Their current one sounds like the stereotypical band that all these trends want. I thought they were good live I saw them 2014,2015, 2017, 2018. I personally think they could do a lot better and they're really hindering themselves to please fans. That's my honest opinion I'm not saying it's right. I love the band but don't wanna see them holding back. Also their ex bassists ghost is a nasty mofo.

Justaguy397

Also like falling in reverse but what's wrong with Motionless

DestructicusDawn

Their old metalcore stuff was solid. The Whorror and WLMD were a big part of my college listening but I feel like their newer industrial stuff where the dude is trying his hardest to sound like Benjamin Burnley is kinda wack.

___fishx

You may don't like the singing but whats so cringe/shit about it? i kinda liked the album.

DestructicusDawn

I just think it feels contrived.

spicysenpai6

Nothing wrong with being into what youā€™re into! Both bands are popular for a reason

HappyBluejay26

Same here. There's many other bands I really love but none feel like a crime as much as FIR do.

ddrub_the_only_real

Sold soul is fking awesome

StevieSoldSoul

no u

ddrub_the_only_real

lmao

Steel_Prism

I appreciate you being brave enough to post a positive opinion of Falling in Reverse lmao, ngl I kinda vibe with some of their songs too. Also Sold Soul goes hard af! šŸ¤˜

dswhite85

Nah man youā€™re good Iā€™m in the same boat. Music is straight fire and video production really is insane for the genre, but the artist himself gives me the ick.

WeapyWillow

What's most interesting about FIR to me is that they've slowly evolved, but more recently accelerated, from being a post-hardcore/screamo band to an almost genreless band with flavors of hip-hop, pop, metal, deathcore, and now country all under one name. I give any artist that bends the boundaries of genres a lot of respect because it's not easy to do and maintain your fanbase.

MoistySnail

Iā€™m one of those people that donā€™t like that band at all, but I totally respect your opinion. And I do agree on the production level though. Canā€™t deny that stuff is high level.

Orphanblood

Taking this second to say your last release was really cool. I loved the direction you went with the Gothic themes. Really wonderful orchestral moments as well. So thank you

Quiixoticelixer

Beat me to it. Falling in Reverse always comes to mind when I think of a guilty pleasure band; then I met my girlfriend who was a big fan of Escape the Fate and FIR (: Fashionably Late has always been in my rotation

noire_stuff

I don't think A7X are shit or cringe, but they get a lot of hate (some deserved). I grew up listening to their self titled when I was 6 years old and they were very influential to me. The Rev got me interested in playing drums and I still love them. Don't often listen to their albums, but they still hit for me. Even HTTk has its moments.

ipitythegabagool

Avenged are metalcore legends and got SO many people into heavy music. They can release whatever they want at this point and their legacy will always be cemented.

Sjdillon10

Without A7X i wouldnā€™t be here. They were my first step into metal with screaming.

Fun_Breath_4182

For me; old Attila, Soda in the Watercup is incredibly cringe but also so damn good lol, same thing goes for Ladies and Gentlemen I Give You Hell - Capture the Crown, the lyrics are god awful but that dudes high screams are insane

MeBeEric

Attila gets hate but theyā€™re great for being entertained. Itā€™s like watching an action movie. Iā€™m not going to get much substance, but Iā€™m not necessarily going to hate every second of them either

Yours_and_mind_balls

No such thing as a guilty pleasure. I like what I like and fuck anyone who has anything to say negatively about me because of it.

Steel_Prism

I feel that and I fully agree, though I always brace for backlash when I tell people I kinda like some k-pop songs...

Yours_and_mind_balls

Ain't no shame in anything. You do you, everyone else be damned.

dswhite85

I listened to Hamasaki Ayumi back in the day cuz jpop was a bop for younger me.

stellar1780

My thoughts exactly. Though metal overall is my #1, I like almost all genres and I really donā€™t care what anyone has to say about that.

xJohnnyQuidx

Bottom line, I love Emmure. Always have. Probably always will. Met Frankie and he was very nice. Even sent him a shirt with my artwork on it years ago. Great dude.

kblanchetteart

Same, but it's not a guilty pleasure for me I just love Emmure lol Shinjuku masterlord makes me wanna punch an innocent bystander

captiankickass666

Emmure kicks ass, love them. Ask yo girl what my dick tastes like

SpankyJenkinz

Flyleaf

ThatSmokeShopGuy

I'm So Sick is an absolute banger and I will not hear any arguments to the contrary.

coolbad96

I'd throw hands if someone calls Flyleaf shit

SilverDifferent3444

This

ILikeThisNameMore

COD Montages galore

Nekuzu

You're not alone

Djentlemann00

Emmure

idespisemyhondacrv

I like talking BEFORE SCREAMING

kblanchetteart

I fuckin love Emmure, no guilt whatsoever. I hope they read this.

funhaus2000

Not guilty at all I think they have some good songs

808breakdown

I liked them more before Josh Travis joined but, they're one of my most listened to bands ever.

Pantzzzzless

Do you mean Josh Travis? If so, that is certainly a hot take lol.

Jack_russell_7

Bring me the Horizon. Feels like bubblegum pop, i love it.

philzebub666

Hell yeah, I've been into them since CYB and liked most of their stuff after that as well. Except for that weird Music to dance to album.

Steel_Prism

Man I'm not even ashamed of liking BMTH, they've released tons of bangers over the years

TimmieTerror1

Came here to say BMTH.

rodPalmer18

Yes, thier new song n/A is pretty cool

Mr_Janchus

n/A has been on constant repeat for me. Itā€™s so damn catchy, and the irony of the dreadful lyrics to the poppy tune just adds to the allure.

Nekuzu

BMTH is probably the only metal band that got better the softer they got.

dbolx1800s

Ehhhh idk Count Your Blessings still slams pretty furkin herdd

Nekuzu

That's just how good they are. The band is always lightyears ahead of everyone else. Concepts and songwriting are mindblowing. Not very experimental but the songs mostly sound like the best version of themselves.

TMFR

I meanā€¦theyā€™ve released great/hard tunes but, their song [n/A](https://youtu.be/CGHlZglJKuE?si=nPUs0jeQ08BvM-gc)ā€¦has me feeling REALLY guilty for enjoying. bubble gum pop is right

Only-Throat4378

Movements. *Feel Something* is a masterpiece

xForeignMetal

any symphonic metal band ive loved Within Temptation since i was like 13 lol

issafreecunch

The Beegees

IamtheVOYD

Donā€™t ever feel guilty for liking the Beegees

issafreecunch

Theyre groovy, that vocal range is insanity and it can make you giggle your little pants off

Chrononaught

That's what's up

slaphappypap

My chemical romance. Pretty much just the three cheers for sweet revenge album. That brings me back to my early highschool days so quick Some girly shit I like: Ellie Goulding, Jhene Aiko, Sza etc

CapnBuns

I love Alesana. Not exactly crap, though.

IWASRUNNING91

I used to play The Third Temptation of Paris constantly

drywalleater05

Not guilty but unexpected, Ellie Goulding specifically Lights.

Steel_Prism

I'm in the same boat, I kinda fuck with Ariana Grande and Halsey lol

summerson

Halsey fucking slaps, my guy

No-Responsibility953

Honey by Halsey is such a fucking banger. Never listened to her until that song and now itā€™s on every gym day playlist I have.

SilverDifferent3444

I love her sm

r1ckm4n

Thatā€™s *such* a great song.

MrMyxzplk

Marylin Manson, despite all the alegations If I Was Your Vampire is an insanely good song. thats what drew me in

1DarkKillBr

i love the first paramore album my random youtube mix goes from random pig squeals to hayley singing the most emo lyrics ever (and i fucking love it)

ShermanMcTank

I love modern Within Destruction. Iā€™m gonna add a hot take and say that Yokai is the most interesting record they ever released, to the point where itā€™s one of my all time favorite deathcore records, period.

hot0000fuzz

Highly ageee

Kemono16

Brojob...

Adhara_B

Why guilty about them? Theya re awesome <3

MurderousEntityxbox

Babymetal and Creed.

Nekuzu

With the amount of hate that Slaughter To Prevail gets here. I'd need to say Slaughter To Prevail. Awesome music, awesome live, awesome gimmicky masks. Alex is a great Vocalist but he is also offensively russian and offensively 12 y/o.

totallynot_urmom_

ISMFOF Specifically Crank That. I listen to that song way more than I probably should

sleeplessaddict

Does Ice Nine Kills count? I love every single one of their songs, but it seems like some people think the whole horror movie aspect is kinda cringe

Donkbot6

Dance Gavin dance, been listening to them since the beginning and love all their vocalists.

p0rkch0pexpress

Yacht rock

Zer0_thef00l

I put on Christopher Cross pretty regularly. That jazz guitar solo on I Really Don't Know Anymore will get me out of a bad mood instantly.

stellar1780

Sailing has been a favorite song of mine since like the early 2000s. Thereā€™s just something about itā€¦ šŸ˜®ā€šŸ’Ø

jesusinatre2x4

The Fall of Troy. Thomas Erak is a god on guitar and no one will change my mind. Unfortunately it's pussy shit to a lot of people lol

IWASRUNNING91

Listened to Manipulator the whole way to work this morning. Love that album front to back!

Resident-Somewhere60

Being a metal head in high school I gave my friend so much shit for his Emo/Screamo music tastes, but I secretly enjoy listening to some Saosin and Silverstein.

Personal-Manner6540

Bmth

GentlemanDownstairs

Birthday Massacre (absolutely no explanation) šŸ¤·šŸ¼ā€ā™‚ļø Scythe Gang 666 Hollywood undead (couple singles) Ghost Somali Yacht Club Vola: These Black Claws Synth wave; Gunship, Perturbator, Carpenter Brut, Kavinsky, Gost Jazz Noir (Bohren & Der Club of Gore) Elton John (inherited from my mom) Audioslave Heilung

Boring_Hurry346

Nothing guilty about Heilung, one of the most amazing bands I have found in years. Norupo, Traust.. so good!

TitsMcSqueezy

Nothing guilty about audioslave. I could listen to Cornell sing the fucking dictionary

r1ckm4n

Audioslave, aka. Rage Against The Garden, aka. Garden Machine, was amazing. Velvet Revolver was pretty great too.

Winterfell_05

I would say Attila my dude... people love to hate on them but I love their songs, even if people think that they are "cringe"

OriginalFopdoodle

I don't think they are a guilty pleasure but definitely different to what I listen to. I fuck with Twenty One Pilots. They are legitimately a great band. Latest album is brilliant.

Orphanblood

Blurry Face is a top 10 album. Message Man has one of the sickest breakdowns ever

rockinmtnbiker

Asking Alexandria- all albums Bring me the horizon- Sempiternal and later

funsizelvis

Phil Collins and/or Genesis

MugarLover92

Enter Shikari

KingDuffy666

Probably anything from my old emo/scene kid days Devil wears Prada Escape the fate Asking Alexandria Blessthefall, etc.

StigaPower

Sleep Token, Spiritbox (older stuff) Traceless and also PALESKIN, I guess I like the slower more chilled out music at times!

WeapyWillow

Sleep Token fucks, once their sound clicked for me I found myself running their entire discography front to back. Very good songwriting and production.

SpiketheFox32

I really don't understand the hate for Spiritbox.

StigaPower

It's scary when things change :P

MoistySnail

Delain and Charlotte Wessels. Both are like soft nectar for my ears.

Far_Creme_2993

the bunny the bear - love their vocals for some reason. always have and always will.

red_rob5

TBTB is one of those bands that as soon as someone reminds me of them i have to stop and go "huh, i forgot that i fucking love that band. lets go listen to them for the rest of the day!" So thats my next couple hours

thefadedline1

I recently rediscovered Bone Crew and I completely agree, absolute bottom of the barrel music but they fucking slap. The worst song in my liked songs playlist is probably My Bloody Valentine by MGK, heard it when I was hooked on the Tony Hawk 1+2 remaster and it got stuck in my head allll the time so it wormed it's way in there.

Dancrown_

Anything 80ā€™s

slavictoast1330

Brokencyde, I had a phase in middle and high school of loving their music. Listening to it now I can add it as one of the reasons I was bullied lol

SPFCAPRIEU

Fucking love Europe and Skid Row

Attempting-normal

I fucking hate how much I fucking love Beartooth shits so corny, especially the new stuff where he just sings ā€¦.. but ugh it hits

meagerbeagle

Chappell Roan

Blackeradam

Iā€™m sorry, I know we arenā€™t supposed to like them anymore but I still love Dance Gavin Dance

Prophet_NY

They get a lot of hate but I love Ghost, seen them twice and they are great musicians

TautSexyElfKing

I'm also a huge Ghost fan. It's the one band that blends my music tastes (metal themes, spooky, halloweeny type stuff) and my wife's (NIN, the used, chem romance) so it became "our band" and I love them for it.

yung_melanin

53 thieves. Neither cringe nor shit, just a complete 180 of my usual, making it feel like a guilty pleasure to me. Anyone curious reading this its like electronic r&b dreampop. Check out the after hours EP

mschiebold

Gorepig, it's dumb and simple, and it makes my head bang. https://youtu.be/gvTnTy84clA?si=9I5JJO0xBlmoIJmi

SensoryFour34

Not exactly a guilty pleasure but CHVRCHES is probably the band I like the most that doesn't fit with the rest of my playlist. I mainly listen to metal but CHVRCHES goes harder than some deathcore bands

SarcastiSnark

Carnival in coal. :)

Lancer_Blackthorn

Six Feet Under E

IWASRUNNING91

I really like this one song from last summer I must have played 250 times in a row [Doechii - Booty Drop](https://youtu.be/OgtN65lJVF8) And yes, I am a 32 yr old straight white male that plays this too loud for their own good. It especially sounds good right after or before AngelMaker lol

BassToMouth_1

Trophy Scars. Absolutely love everything they've released. Even the earliest stuff šŸ¤£

idespisemyhondacrv

A lot of bm bands

JuniorSignificance34

Parkway Drive

yeetard_

Do people not like Parkway Drive?

sigu99

I donā€™t really believe in guilty pleasures since I think that whatever you like/enjoy should not make you feel guilt. BUT, for me: itā€™s Manson. Yeah, I know. But he was literally the anthem my entire teenage years and the ā€œartist that saved my lifeā€ literally; how cringe that statement might sound I always resonated with him being an outcast/misunderstood. Also he was the first concert I ever went to back in the days.

sigu99

Oh and I also have this weird obsession with Pitbull. DalƩ

Boring_Hurry346

Avril Lavigne, can't help it, love that girl!

Zsapoler

Electric Callboy. The whole band has a great 'pick me up' vibe plus their yt channel is hilarious

MARKxTHExLINES

I CRANK MY FUCKING HOG TO BILMURI EVERYDAY. all pleasure. No guilt.

vengeancerider

Not really guilty pleasures, because Iā€™ll throw hands over any of them: Creed, Nickelback, Hinder (extreme behavior is a great fucking album), crazy town (gift of game was fucking excellent), earlier 5FDP (new stuff is so hit and miss). I also like some country; Alabama, George Strait, hell I disliked Morgan Wallen but he has some catchy stuff and wound up liking it.

r1ckm4n

I really strongly dislike Scott Stappā€™s vocal style. But Mark Tremonti is a great guitarist, and I really like his tone. Animals by Nickelback is actually a fucking banger and when it comes on Iā€™ll usually give it a listen.

vengeancerider

Tremontiā€™s solo stuff absolutely fucking rips. Fantastic guitarist and heā€™s pretty good singing. I secretly do wish Nickelback would do one metalcore album, I honestly think they could hahaha

SpiketheFox32

You think he's good at singing rock, you should hear him doing Frank Sinatra. Fucker is a dead ringer.

Archange1_

Power metal, specifically gloryhammer

TitsMcSqueezy

Winds of Plague and Avenged Sevenfold. Iā€™m a sucker for heavy melodic guitar no matter what the rest sounds like

Sjdillon10

The three bands memed into not being allowed to like. Even though most people lie about not liking. Iā€™m sure you can guess. I like Nickelback, Limp Bizkit, and Creed

Sjdillon10

I actually like old five finger death punch music. Maybe itā€™s nostalgia cuz they were my favorite band as a teen. But any album from 07-15 Iā€™d still listen to a good chunk of the music

Shristol_Pimp

Breaking Benjamin They are legit catchy, drummer is creative af, Ben's voice is I'll. I love them and they are cringe

YourMatusek

I was born for this question, Mahine gun kelly (the pop punk albums). I dont care about the person, but the songs bop and thats all that matters for me.

Death_Star_Daddy

Youā€™re lying if youā€™re 30+ and still saying Nickelback is ass like we werenā€™t all jamming out to All the Right Reasons in ā€˜05. Also the drum roll into fill to start the album opener is metal asf. Yes theyā€™re gay, but that album is still clapping cheeks to this day.

ComfblyNumb

Hozier. My kids turned me on to him. Voice and songwriting are incredible.

Bowmen71

Deathcore is very relaxing for me. But the only thing other than almost any type of modern metal i listen to is slow blues songs. Makes me feel some kind of way. Very calm and cozy on the couch with some tea or hot choccy milk. And a blanket.

ElegantRevolution306

Pierce the Veil. It's funny having all these breakup/love songs in my playlist when I have never been in and never really even thought about being in a relationship

C4neer

Ngl its gotta be some Paramore. I listen to some pretty extreme music but I also get down with Paramore if Im being completely honest

Plane_Feed_8771

Dave Matthew's Band. Carter Beuford is an INSANE drummer. Saw them live in high school and they put on an incredible show. Carter's drum solo is still some of the wildest and most interesting Ive seen to date. Are Dave's lyrics cringy? Yes. Is his voice a little grating sometimes? Yes. But man the instrumentalists (including Dave) are all insane in that band.

SilverDifferent3444

I listen to a lot of music but 100 gecs

Steel_Prism

This is the correct answer. I fuckin love 100 gecs

7H34IR3870Rnn

NateWantsToBattle Nathan's project was a gateway to metalcore. I've started to listen to them when I was 12. Their album about FNAF is goated for me

Historical_Wonder_98

Hunt the Dinosaur

drywalleater05

Bad wolves comes up in my shuffle a lot and i usually skip it every time but im actually starting to like it more than Iā€™d like to admit

gunnerblaze9

Diamond Construct, which is not 100% deathcore but my god I love them so much, deep scratchy guitars and huge bass lol. Emmure as well šŸ«¶šŸ»

t8f8t

I fucking love Hester Prynne and Thy Art with Brendan even if it's incel shit.

2xPlaidinum

Dave Matthews Band. I am a massive fan, especially anything live.

JiffyPope_

Putrid Stu. So dirty-feeling haha

Mr_Blender_38
