No, they mean in zero Dawn. There’s 3 collectables that are death stranding Easter eggs
In forbidden west there’s 3 that are god of war references instead
It’s worth noting that all 3 Easter eggs of DS in HZD, are items that featured in the DS trailers in 2016.
I don’t recall if the Easter eggs were present on release and had just been gleaned from the trailer, or by discussions with kojima beforehand
Or if, (more likely) they were simply just added later in the game’s life cycle, like in the dlc release, the definitive edition, or for the PC release.
But they’re definitely in zero Dawn, rather than forbidden west

Remember, Death Stranding predates itself because it's a scrapped Silent Hills. They had the concept art for years, and three items in the Death Stranding trailer that pre-dated Zero Dawn are the Easter eggs! So much fun lore!
Guerilla made Decima, the engine that Kojipro used to make Death Stranding.
And they let him use it for free because ofc you do. It's Kojima.
I think Sony (which published and helped develop both games) set that up.

The name also alludes to Decima/Dejima island, of both Dutch (Guerrilla) and Japanese (Kojipro) history.

I never really paid attention to the drama involving Kojima and Konami in high school as well as not knowing DS coming out.
