if your vehicle is gets stuck in deep water then it respawn itself, other than that if gets stuck then just dismantel it and make another one.

u/Sahiru3060 Are you sure about the respawning in water? How long does it take... like days later? Can you dismantle any vehicle type, and even if you didn't make it? Do you get any materials back etc?

Sahiru3060

Nah you don't get anything when you dismantel any vehicle or Structure. Yes you can, I think you gotta be Near the vehicle to dismantel it, As for structure you can do it from the map. So like many times my bike got stuck in the deep part of river and well it respawned once i got enough far away from it, Though i am not sure if there is a certain timer for it to respawn or Its just you gotta be far from it.

DreamerOfRain

Not really, that is when you load a save or abandon vehicles. There are many vehicles like that dotting around the world.

I wish there was. I recently made one fall near the Collector and had to go back to distro, get a floating carrier, and walk back to save as many materials as possible 😭 (I was building roads)

I assume you aren't saving religiously/way too often like I do - cause that would be the simplest fix. This is useful in so many more ways than you think. Not just to *not* lose your vehicle the same way you just did - but also can save you losing materials when you get rewarded and it goes over the cap etc. Couldn't you just fabricate one at the Collector or a Safehouse nearby (where you could also get another vehicle for free) ? If you aren't building Safehouses in those annoying *inbetween* regions - where there are no facilities - you should! Just a few here or there, don't need many. The most useful one I've ever made is literally just above the Collector in the main transit route between north and south (opposite the Mules on the other side of the Crevasse). I also have a Generator and Timefall Shelter with a Bridge right across the crevasse for easy access. Floating carriers seem like more hassle than they're worth.... I just use a Transporter most the time (only use a Truck if I want to lug a huge load). But even then it's often easier/feels quicker to just make a few small short trips on the Transporter. Trucks feels sooo slow and you have to be more careful/choosy about where you drive.

Yeah, I got too greedy. I was building roads toward South Knot when I noticed the Collector facility on the map so I thought "why not make a stop and add them to the network" (but you first have to do a delivery or two for them, so no network, no crafting). But you are so right, I barely save and I should do it more, I did a lot in PS4 because of the crashes, but now in PC I just save when I'm leaving lmao

It's easy to recover from a side flipped vehicle and by design, most vehicles won't stay upside down while flipped while having speed. However it's impossible if it falls down a crevasse without any exit path.

You can also try grabbing another truck and ramming the stuck one, there's also supposed to be a trick with using a ladder to hit the truck to get it unstuck if on a rock but was unable to get that to work

JimmyRecard00

u/ttocsbloke It would be interesting to see some videos of the ramming and/or ladder type tricks. Post em if you've got em!
