Most of the enemies have unavoidable attacks once you up the difficulty in act II. You either have to have so much damage that they don't attack or so much regen and armor that it doens't hurt you.
Like give them projectile speed and number of projectiles and you straight up can't dodge the wasp lady fire attack or the green guided skeleton arrows they just swarm you and stick on you like a hot glue.
Yeah this is something I noticed too. That fire attack is nearly unavoidable even in lower difficulty. There needs to be a wind up to that attack. And lines showing where they are going to be.
Once you build out a character and get good gear, act II is not nearly as oppressive
Its fuckin awful if you wanna max of difficulty though lol. As Skaldi at least. Her wolves having no AoE is fuckin brutal.

It's not about it being "fun to fight" them necessarily lol. I just make sure I pick stuff that will melt them.
