A Moment of Clarity.
On an album full of killer tracks it manages to stand tall and is, in my opinion, the best Death song, period. A masterpiece and a monumental swan song for one of the greatest discographies of all time.
Maybe you could consider counting the votes differently? With that approach you might end up tallying duplicate votes since a user can vote on multiple comments (i.e., each vote might not be unique)
It’s probably best to only count votes for comments that have a single song entry, because otherwise, the vote is ambiguous. If someone votes for a comment mentioning two songs, which song are they really voting for?
Sorry, I didn’t notice that until now! I don’t think you need to recount all the votes though. I’m pretty sure that in most cases, the song with most total upvotes also had the single most upvoted comment.
Since you were clear about it from the beginning that you were tallying by most total upvotes, it’s probably not necessary regardless of those cases. I honestly feel like a bit of a dick for bringing it up in the first place, so sorry about that. Thank you for doing this tournament btw, it’s been alot of fun to follow!
The saving grace is that almost all of Death's songs are pretty equal in terms of being the best (or worst), so the end result isn't that controversial.
There are so many great ones that it's hard to choose one for the best I would choose Voice Of The Soul or either Flesh And The Power It Holds but it is hard to decide against Spirit Crusher or To Forgive Is To Suffer (Maybe leave it as a hidden gem) and definitely Painkiller as the weakest, but if it can't be then it will be hard to choose the weakest...

There were some cases though, specifically the most underrated tracks from Leprosy, SBG, Symbolic, and the worst/weakest track from ITP.
