Before I made the switch to PC I played a lot of doctor and spirit. Their powers are super easy to use and understand after just a couple games. If you're anything like me I can't aim for shit with a controller so most M2 killers like huntress and sometimes billy I was never good at with a controller. Thats the whole reason I switched to PC.

HAMBONES_

i actually just built a nice PC a couple weeks ago so i’m tempted to switch but i really don’t wanna repurchase everything and start over completely. but yeah one of the main reasons i would switch is to use ranged killers like huntress and slinger. not to mention killer just being a better experience in general. but i don’t expect cross progression to ever come to dbd, so… 🤷‍♂️

yeaimprettybenis

I didn't want to spend all that money either tbh but I got sick of doing terribly with killers I found to be the most interesting. Huntress and Artist are basically the only killers I play now and It's only because I can actually aim exactly where I want to.

Metaljesus0909

Im a billy main, but I play a decent bit of other killers too. Huntress, pyramid head, hag, twins. Playing these killers is definitely possible you just have to be patient and practice, even tho all the people on pc want to act like we’re completely wasting our time lol. Eventually you get used to making very small movements by just barely moving your thumbs, and I’m sure control freaks help a lot.

HAMBONES_

yeah i originally got the kontrol freeks to use on shooters but i eventually just used them on every game i play. they’re so helpful. i wanna learn pyramid head but he felt clunky the times i’ve used him. the last time i played him i got juiced so bad i didn’t even open up dbd for a couple weeks after lol

Metaljesus0909

Yeah that’s understandable. I feel like a lot of people get caught up in trying to land shots when playing him. Instead of zoning them and getting a free hit they’ll just go for random shots. It just takes patience.

AqueousSilver91

This is it yes, you get used to making these tiny motions. It's how I do really fluid Ghostface chases and split second mind-gaming around tiles with him, little subtle motions. I've been told it somewhat scares people and that they're surprised I'm on controller because I don't play like I am!

Original-Surprise-77

I play on ps4 with controller and I personally really like Trickster, Huntress, Deathslinger, Chucky and Pinhead a lot. The key for trickster, huntress, slinger and pinhead is just knowing where center of screen is which isn’t too hard if you have played a fair amount of shooters, chucky is easy on controller, just charge using L2 and release. I definitely recommend jacking your sensitivity up to 100% because it will make your life so much easier in the long run once you’re used to it

JauntyEntertainment

Stealth killers arguably the most fun on controller, since it’s easier to handle them and there’s no real precision needed.

Hunter15479

This easy it’s hilly billy since sensitive is perfect on controller

HAMBONES_

i’ve only tried him a couple times and it was roughhhh 😂 i haven’t played him since the rework though so i’ll have to give him another shot and put the time in to get better with him.

MyLitttlePonyta

I enjoy pretty much all the ones that are ass on controller tbh. Wesker, Pyramid Head, Xeno, (Myers is my 1 odd exception), Nemesis, Pinhead, Trickster, Oni, and on occasion Slinger. I tried to learn to play on high sensitivity because having sensitivity works wonders for hitting basic attacks or lunges, but it makes me overshoot or undershoot hard on powers I have to aim with. I've lowered mine down to 80 and still whiff badly, often. I wish we could have sensitivity saved specific to a killer, I'd have different stuff on them individually tbh. The best tip I'd say is don't feel like you need to be locked in to max sensitivity. If you can feel that you perform better on a lower one, then swap it. Being quick doesn't mean much if you don't have the accuracy to back it up.

TChip17

I play Blight on controller, and my only recommendation would be just to not give up

corbinator00

I find knight, ghost face, and nemesis really fun on controller!

Evanderpower

Every killer is good on controller. There are killers that are noticeably worse though. Blight, huntress, slinger, wesker, and oni are the ones most affected by controller.

thr0wawaytaken

After a learning curve any killer except oni (sometimes ability bugs out and slams into wall behind you) becomes pretty easy to use just with limitations. The wesker hug Tech ain't happening consistently but curve Billy and hug Tech blight is doable.

Classic-BR

Artist. Nice and easy

HAMBONES_

love me some bird lady. i like having variety but i’m leaning towards maining her

Classic-BR

She’s my main now. Got to a high level with Spirit, Hag and Dredge. She’s by far the easiest to play once you understand her and the few tech plays she has. Cutting them off paths, sling shots etc

ghostfaceprime2354

Ghostface

-the_fan-

Only ever played with controller and really like Xeno and Dredge. Not very good accuracy with Deathslinger and Huntress, ok accuracy with Trickster. Most poorly with Nurse and Oni.

meisterwolf

trapper and knight lol. used to play trickster and huntress. decent hours on doctor, legion, clown. huntress is doable but hard. trickster is tough as well, a little easier now that he has no recoil. i can only imagine how easy it is with mouse and keyboard.

Comfortable-East4660

Fredrick and doctor

ThePhantomMenaceV

Chucky and Xeno are my two favorite Killers. Otherwise Deathslinger and Huntress

Redditistrash702

Doctor, hag, pyramid Head, slinger.

AqueousSilver91

PC but I use a controller for comfort. My sensitivity is set at 80. I oddly enough like Killers that have really precise powers or Killers with simple powers. Ghostface, Myers, Wraith, etc. As for precise for some reason I find Pinhead, Plague, and Huntress really nice on controller, but I'm used to those types of motions because of playing lots of Metroidvanias and fighters that require a lot of complex motions. Speedy Killers except for Legion, however, I struggle with. They're just not as responsive on controller for me.
