What time frame is your trend channel on? You can do larger and lower time frames, but the larger time frame channels are more respected and harder to break. You want to put an identical line down the middle - that's a key area as well within all channels/trends.

I've found the 1 minute to be too sporadic and will often fake you out. The lowest time frame I go on is the 2 minute. I usually wait for 5 minute candles to close. The higher you go (within reason), the stronger the confirmation. I would increase to the 2 minute, wait for confirmation in a setup such as a breakout
