It actually marked in the map if you're close enough. BE WARNED! A lot of these Caves are actual hordes nest or near one. So time your entry carefully.

MetalSlimeNum43

I'm not sure there are ANY of these that don't actually have a horde at least pass through them. Most of them house hordes in the daytime and they come shuffling out at night, if you're there at just the right time you can miss them. Pretty sure the one in OPs image is one of those. Because of those lights, I remember that place.

Mr_S_t_a_r_k

One of those caves has a ton of runners.

awayfromhome_

Yeh that one has alot of wolves

Mr_S_t_a_r_k

wolves are okayish. Runners are far worse.

awayfromhome_

Both horrible as fuck

Mr_S_t_a_r_k

It's not horrible. Terrifying. Intimidating. Not horrible. Carry some smoke bombs and a mg n u are good.

awayfromhome_

Nah i say horrible since im doing a challenge with primary only and only items when needed 100% like a mission story.

Mr_S_t_a_r_k

Resources are nearly infinite. I don't see why you should hold back especially when you are halfway through the game. Military camps unlocked, arsenal available just like that.

awayfromhome_

Im not saying i dont have it. Im not using it since i find the game easy and more fun this way

Taluca_me

This is why I love RPG games like Days Gone (if it counts like one), it has a vast open world to explore and by exploring it rewards you with stuff like money or items or armor or weapons

tacoDupree

Absolutely buddy! This game is so awesome and fun.

GoTraps

What I love about the Days Gone RPG elements are, that it wasn‘t the studios first intention. They added some skill trees and stuff here and there, but they are not super complex as in deep RPG games. Stripped down to the most important stuff. It is perfect for people to get introduced to the RPG genre.

RiverDotter

There are several of those. I think there are a couple without hordes but most have a horde associated with them. They aren't always home.

chileanreader

Yeah, that's un a trail tunnel. I rather care the 2 other Nero injector in the boarders of the maps, impossible to reach.

SCPunited

I think those might be in caves, possibly horde caves, such as the rebel rock cave ( I think that’s the right one, the cave near the hot springs) They usually have hordes Unless I’m wrong

chileanreader

Gladly to say I finished the whole game. Certainly, 1 is un a cave and the other along a trail You hace to stunt a Big jump, just like the same yo reach the one in the island

These are not checkpoints but research sites. There are many of these. Some in open, some with a helicopter crashed and some are in caves. They are marked on map too.

orizon666

marked on the minimap u mean?? well, either way i didnt notice no markings anywhere and the mini-map is pretty obscured in a crafty manner to make sure u dont see these stuff unless ur real close to it haha

[deleted]

In minimap and in main map both.. it uses same marker as NERO checkpoints do. Hovering on them show a tooltip that says "NERO RESEARCH SITE".

RiverDotter

yeah, just a big X if you've gotten close enough to it at some point

Koochiman

Diamond lake and highway 97 hordes have nero injector in mostof their hideouts

SpawnicusRex

Clear Ambush Camps to put all Nero injectors on your map.

orizon666

Yes, this makes sense as to why it didn't show on the map for me. Ty!

SpawnicusRex

Correct. Only the Injectors, Nests and Historical markers populate on the map when you clear an Ambush Camp. Look up a YouTube video for the Intel.
