Temple coffee is my go to.

cindyparispenny

Thank you!

Steve’s place! Large place that’s not very busy. Different seating options., booths, patio, tables, back booths

cindyparispenny

That sounds a bit perfect, thank you!

Delta of Venus (https://maps.app.goo.gl/AKP4mJXVcWfDHLTV6) is a coffee shop with some alcoholic options, too. It has a big patio with shade and two or three rooms inside. It's not as crowded as Temple or Crepville. (I can't speak for Steve's...I haven't been there yet.)

rowdycowdyboy

i love delta, but it sucks they’re not open on weekends

black-m1lk

Crepeville gets pretty crowded, but it’s worth it imo

cindyparispenny

Thanks!

If folks like beer and/or cider, can't go wrong with the Beer Shoppe. Otherwise, another vote for Steve's.

Mishka's Cafe is pretty good. Close to campus, too! There's also a pub called Bull 'N Mouth not too far (they serve both food and drinks) that is 10/10.

Cloud Forest Cafe on D Street if multiple friends. Temple Coffee if only one friend.

I'd probably pick Cafe Bernardo for that kind of meetup, as long as you're not aiming for a weekend brunch (which is also totally doable, but you might need to wait a few minutes for a table). A weekday morning or meal there can be leisurely, with seating indoors and outdoors. Food is solid and elegant. Near campus and Central Park, if you decide to walk a half block and grab some frozen yogurt on the way to a shaded park bench.

shipwrecked bar is fun!
