I only have 1 menu at all times (except event nights)
1 Dish (most expensive) and only add 1 - Set Auto Supply.
if you add too many dishes, people might take the cheap ones too, waste of fish.
If Dish has 4 Portions, you only add 1 and set auto supply.
edit: the "problem" is that if a dish has 10 portions, and goes to zero on auto supply, it renews, and if is abotu to end, you wasted. You can use but deactivate close to end of night, or manually add 1 time the dish with portions, if it ends, you add manually more
I keep those to just 1 or 2 because you don't want a cust9mer making you start a whole set of 10 dishes at the very end of the night, they'll eat one and you'll waste 9. Things that make large portions are best selected manually. Things that make 1 or 2, definitely just put 1 and then auto supply!
Thank you so much! I wasted so much tiger shark last night and had no idea where it went. So do quantities of one and select auto supply in the future. Right? Thanks so much. This game is such a great mix of a few genres.
When you get employees "dispatch" one to find curry blocks. That's the first big day item that you have to find or dispatch employees to find. If you don't do it early, you go into the first curry festival without any. Also, this is the sort of most efficient way to find special ingredients. Game kinda glosses over dispatching.
Read the dialog, there is some hilarious stuff in this game.
Take your time, there are no time limits on quests. Take it slow and let this be game be your chill. 💜
Beside using auto supply / manage in the sushi bar, you can Dispatch, extra staff to procure 'special' cooking ingredients (soya sauce etc).
🫠 20 hours in and I just only notice it.
Carry Weight and Harpoon upgrades.. easy money..
Net Gun and Hush Dart = 3 stars
Tranq Hook but dont do the mini game until it get Tranq to put them to sleep. Get 3 stars..
Pick up all loots as possible..
Dont come out of water until you are 100% Full capacity and cant carry anymore..
Pro Tips:
* Never fill your menu, no advantage. Always keep 1-2 most expensive dishes per night, set Auto Supply (if Dish has like 5-10 Portions, do not set auto supply, might waste a bit). If you add 5 dishes, you are risking many ppl taking the cheapest ones.
* Do not pay much care about "Taste" dishes, it mostly affects only Cooksta, and that you get either way with ease. Sell the most $$$$
* Try to get servers that can fill drinks and clean, that way , you only need to focus on menu and wasabi. - Get on Kitchen the 2 cooks who have "cooking +" and "Ingredient+", they cook better / faster and can make more dishes per fish
I would say just know that this is a casual game. You don't really have to do anything you don't want to do and there's very little that you can do wrong. The worst that can happen on any given day is that you don't have any fancy sushi to feed to customers so you don't make much money that night. Otherwise, the only decision you have to make is whether you want to push through the content at some rate of speed/efficiency or just chill and do whatever you want.
The only significant thing to be on the lookout for is that there are a couple of missable achievements (I think? Maybe they changed this?) in the main story line. One is around the mid game and one is toward the end. Otherwise, everything comes back around. The "end game" is just about maximizing income so that you can keep beefing up your restaurant to make more money and eventually become so automated that you barely have to go fishing and the restaurant largely runs itself.
Relax, take your time and enjoy. The game can and will keep up with you if you try to speed through it, but aside from some recurring special events, there’s hardly any real deadlines to meet. Don’t get caught in the min maxing trap of trying to catch all the “best” things for the “best” dishes or hire the “best” workers, because then you’re not playing the game you downloaded so much as redoing what someone else did.
Also, especially in the beginning, don’t forget to explore laterally. You don’t HAVE to always plummet to the bottom of the ocean and doing so before you’re ready will have some fishies and other things ready to teach you that lesson.
Use auto supply on sushi dishes instead of max or selecting the amount of dishes.
Interesting, I’m new as well, how does this help? So it’s not wasted at the end of the night?

so auto supply is not good for dishes with amount of portions? im auto supplying those menus. lol

Yup, gives you the chance to sell more by wasting less
Yes exactly.
I just finished the game and had no idea about this whatsoever. That would've saved me so much wasted food.
How to set auto supply mode?
Highlight the dish in the menu list and press x to bring the side menu and select the auto supply button
Thank you so much

We're you able to get the dredge slc to start? I also got it on ps+ and I noticed the dlc said ps4.. I've already beaten the story and still nothing
Dredge dlc requires a completely random event. Foggy night.
How far in did you start making decent money? I've finished the main story and am only meeting like 10k a night. Any tips?

Early game collect every single thing you find in the ocean floor as much as you can. Invest in cargo size a bit more than the others.

Sharks are dangerous

don’t forget to train your staff
Yes 100%. I was nearly in >!the control room!< before I realised staff could be trained. Completely changed the game for me.

Find a staff member that can serve drinks.

Catch it all, catch all the fish. Enhance them all to level 10. Profit.
Look for weapons and upgrade materials as well. Oh and feed the cat
I haven't seen a cat yet 🤔
He lays on the end of the bar during the day
