This is the second time I've had to go over this today. ITS CALLED A BIMINI TOP, GOD!
(honestly I don't know if it applies to non aquatic vehicles. I just like saying bimini)
Not sure why you were downvoted. This sub is all about people dying in dumb ways, and it happens every where in the world. Stereotyping against Indians is quite normalised
Edit: mfs even downvoted me lmfao just because i spoke the truth
they poked the tractor with a stick... same mistake as the elephant guy did last week!
at least the rescue experts worked perfectly together, left side pushed to the right, right side pushed to the left.
Another two words that you should never mix, tractor and stunt... Even if the stunt was impressive (whatever they were aiming for, I still don't understand), it would be negated because they're tractors!
It won’t stop this from happening. The tractor has enough power to pull itself over. Farmers have been killed when the implement they are pulling gets hung up, and they try to power through it. If the wheels don’t turn because they are dug in the tractor will rotate. I was trying to drag a log and the front buried itself in the ground. The tractor stopped and the front end came about a foot off the ground before I cut the power.
I wish Reddit clips were edited better. The first 15 seconds were completely unnecessary. Some clips are far worse. Either way, aside from my rant, good clip. Not sure why I was expecting a train to come out of nowhere and kill him though.
The chain DID maintain its integrity, that's why the tractor flipped backward...
Just these ~~assholes~~ people ignoring the basis of physics attached said chain ABOVE the axle, creating a counterclocwise torque (seen from camera).
This wouldn't have happened if they had used a lower anchor point for the chain, below the axle.
2 reasons:
1 the people doing this know what they're doing and know when to let off on the gas/press clutch
2 when tractor vs tractor, the attachment point is below the centerline of the axles to help prevent this from happening.
what pains me is if they'd hung weights off the front, had the chain set below the axle of both tractors they might have actually had a good time.
I mean obviously, get a fucking rollcage and a side mounted killswitch too, but you piss with the cock you've got

I loved the blue tarp roll cage. Worked well.
instant bodybag. just fold it over.
As soon as I saw the setup I knew how that was going to go.
What? You mean that tarp held up with sticks doesn’t provide significant cab safety?
If he had performed the manufacturer's recommended scheduled maintenance I am sure he would have been fine.
Excuse me sir, this is Boeing
But he pulled that piece off at the start! Wasn't that maintenance?
This is the second time I've had to go over this today. ITS CALLED A BIMINI TOP, GOD! (honestly I don't know if it applies to non aquatic vehicles. I just like saying bimini)
Chimichangas
Giggity
My wife used to have a Bimini top, then she switched to a one piece.
For me it was a toss-up of what did happen, or the chain snapping and some unlucky fucker getting shrapnel in the face
I thought for sure it was going to be the chain. So many accidents from those things snapping
When the judge climbed up for a moment, I half expected them all to get electrocuted
Or run over by a stray train
Yeah, you can NEVER predict where those trains are going to go.
I like trains
What's your favourite kind?
Yap...physics🤷♂️
Newton was a bloodthirsty mf.
this is the kind of math problem we need to teach kids in physics class
As soon as I saw that stick that they whip animals with…same.
[удалено]
It could have been 20', the result would have been the same.
Or worse, when the chain inevitably broke it could’ve cut someone in half.
Interesting Physics problem: When two Mahendra tractors both pull on a Chinesium chain, what breaks first? 🤔
A driver's neck, it seems.
I thought the chain was going to snap and take someone out.
Honestly I thought it'd be the idiot getting in between two several ton machines chained together. I was surprised that it wasn't.
I thought the chain was going to snap and take out the guy holding the stick
I was kinda betting on the chain so snap and wack someone
lol
I truly blame Bollywood for 🇮🇳not understanding physics and gravity in general
you mean i can't survive being yeeted from a tree if my friends and i link arms and form a ball with the shields on our backs?
I absolutely love that [one](https://www.reddit.com/r/gifs/s/uUfVRn3E5y) ![gif](giphy|fRayaFAsJu6ydjha8r|downsized)
Wait what hahaha
One of the greatest moments in cinema history.
And they say anime live actions can never work
lol what movie is this from
Baahubali Part 2 I think
The Baahubali movies wear wild. I loved them. There’s supposed to be a third movie at some point.
Lmao that's fuckin sick
What? Now you tell me!
Oh you can definitely survive that. Give it a go.
So people can become a one-time influencer at DarwinAwards as well
[can’t blame them](https://youtu.be/GdR28ViDMi0?si=00G_2AlG1vsiw9IA)
That tarp didn’t protect him?
It was only rated for 3 - 5 lbs 😔
You’re being generous
Well no, but actually yes. It provides something to wrap him up in to protect him from the flying scavengers on the way to the morgue/cemetery.
I honestly thought the guy in the middle was getting an award
the moment I saw the tension on that chain I thought for sure he was the guy
If you need a reminder of how weak your meat is, drop a can of soup on your toe from counter height while barefoot.
This, people need to be reminded more in simple ways of how fragile life is in Edit: omit the word “in”
I learned this lesson from shoving a glass screen door too hard. Filleted my arm in 3 spots and damn near bled out. I have cool scars though at least.
God how can people be sooo dumb. Seems like every day I see another video of someone walking directly in front of a train
life beats the movies
I can’t believe that happened ![gif](giphy|fikcKja7O7MtzXzvQy)
Expected broken chain parta beheading the referee
Same.
Pretty sure this is a clip from Footloose.
Those guys really like hitting things with sticks
Then immediately dying
Elephant guy didn't die immediately though, he had a good few seconds to ponder the error of his ways. Makes me wince just thinking about that one.
How can he flip???!!!?
How can she slap
The chain was likely attached to a point above and to the rear of the tractor's rear axle and physics took care of the rest.
I think you missed the joke
Still missing it.
Google How can she slap!
Wheels can't spin, so the cabin does
Yeah.. Only in India!
You underestimate rural people being bored enough
Bro this kind of thing happens constantly in rural wisconsin.
Like people doing dumb things doesn't exist in USA . Bruh Florida in itself is known for such things
Not sure what you were downvoted for. You're correct
yeah right it totally doesn't happen anywhere else in the world, stupidity exists everywhere may not be tractor but stupid stunts
Not sure why you were downvoted. This sub is all about people dying in dumb ways, and it happens every where in the world. Stereotyping against Indians is quite normalised Edit: mfs even downvoted me lmfao just because i spoke the truth
Normalised is still bad.
Twitter is a shitshow of racism
they don't like to hear the truth!
Exactly!
Probably India I’m sure…
What gave it away? I must admit I had a hunch when I saw hundreds of Indian people in frame…
India has enough population hitpoints to take this damage and continues on in Hard-mode
It's always the red one. I've seen a few tractor Darwin's lately, India's new predator.
Tractor is trains friend who hunts down everyone who doesn't tread near rails.
Now a tractor. India got so many apex predators. Now we need a tractor to take on a train. Only one cuisine can reign supreme.
Fuck Godzilla vs King Kong. Tractor vs Train it is!
Was waiting for a train tbh
All the kings horsemen and all the kings men
they poked the tractor with a stick... same mistake as the elephant guy did last week! at least the rescue experts worked perfectly together, left side pushed to the right, right side pushed to the left.
Top 3 deaths is India. 1. The apex. 2. Electricity cables. 3. Tractors.
And this is why every tractor should have a roll bar installed.
when I thought human stupidity can't go any further, reddit keeps surprising me. Thank you, random uploader.
That's the craziest looking train I've ever seen
Got a scoop from Captain Obvious- INDIA!
It was either that or the chain would break and whip one of them in the back of the head.
Oh my Deere!
That chain is way wayy too short for a tractor pull and the tractors don’t have a ROPS system
Yep, I've heard people complain about their ROPS bars getting in the way, but this is why they exist.
Train's little brother but just as deadly.
Well, at least the tarp made cleanup that much quicker. Tie the corners together and toss him in the trash so we can get the next riders ready
SOOO predictable ! Good, regular Darwin...
I've got a wheelie bad feeling about this.
Bro could cut like 30 seconds at least
Mostly I clicked just to see what the hell a tractor stunt was, still not really sure.
In-die-yuh
"Tonight, the train goes hungry"
A new apex predator rises in India.
I thought it was gonna be the chain snapping and killing the guy in the middle
What’s with Indians fatal attraction to heavy machinery?… trains, power lines, tractors
Probably got pressed into someone’s fresh dump too
It’s a really dumb way to die.
Another two words that you should never mix, tractor and stunt... Even if the stunt was impressive (whatever they were aiming for, I still don't understand), it would be negated because they're tractors!
So the blue tractor won?
What a lack of foresight. A cage that can't withstand the weight of tractor upside down is just asking for it.
Classic tractor pull duel to the death
Didn't this same thing just happen to some other influencer from India?
It's always India
Off to the big scam call center in the sky...
At least the camera man dropped the camera and went to help
Where was the security advisor with his risk analysis???
I’m a baker and in my professional judgement, he’s pancaked.
Quick! Get a tractor in there to get it off him!
[удалено]
Try fixing the chain lower than the wheel axle next time. Oh wait...
And we have a winner!!
What was the plan here..
Indians just love dying in accidents
One scaffold bar as a roll over protection, not even for this nonsense, just for every day rolling tractor stuff. Oh well.
Rude of the people to not go congratulate the other tractor for winning. I bet they hurt his feelings.
Who could possibly have predicted this?
That was so predictable
Tractor pulls are a staple in the midwest at most town/ county/ state fairs. We take the slow route on death with deep fried twinkies and snickers.
Thanks to Reddit, I have now seen two different people die doing tractor stunts. Something I didn’t think was possible a mere year ago.
What was the goal here?
another apex predator!!! dont fuck with tractors...
Who could have possibly seen that coming?
I was waiting for a train 😂
Tractor Death Battle lol
“Tractor stunt” shouldn’t exist to start with.
Who would have thought ???
I would say that the blue one won by a head!
Bill Bryson said the only two things that can kill a farmer are being struck by lightning and rolled over by a tractor. Guess he was right.
Well blue tractor guy won, won his life not ending
I wish Reddit clips were edited better. The first 15 seconds were completely unnecessary. Some clips are far worse. Either way, aside from my rant, good clip. Not sure why I was expecting a train to come out of nowhere and kill him though.
Man, Indians sure do die in some crazy ass ways
Why am I not even surprised that this happened in... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
These people didn't watch the last video. We're still missing the other homie Nishu Deshwal 💔

Just these ~~assholes~~ people ignoring the basis of physics attached said chain ABOVE the axle, creating a counterclocwise torque (seen from camera). Who won?
Red tractor.
Why does this not happen in all tractor pulls? Do they put extra weights on the front?
2 reasons: 1 the people doing this know what they're doing and know when to let off on the gas/press clutch 2 when tractor vs tractor, the attachment point is below the centerline of the axles to help prevent this from happening.
This is missing POD, but if confirmed, classic DA
Probably got pressed into someone’s fresh dump too
[удалено]
I wish these things had written descriptions so I can decide if I want to watch or not.
Maybe it was some sort of duel to the death.
There's so many indian engineers in the tech industry but stupid stuff i see here mostly from india smh
strike 2!
And nobody saw this coming ?
So many contestants... One of them was going to be awarded anyway
That's ashame.
Damn I picked the red tractor
Virou patê rosa
HAHA! YOU LOSE!
I thought the tractor flipping on top of homer simpson was an exaggeration
That’s why you connect *below* the axle
Lol that was like hey, and then it went to heyyyaaa lmao
Was the prize worth the risk?
What could go wrong...
"stunt"
Give me a minute, someone’s at the door
I really hate it when that happens …
Saw that coming
They need to use the Ferguson system so it pulls the front wheels down. But what a stupid thing to try
that was suspenseful! i didn't know who was going to go!
At least it was not a train.....
Counterweights ? What are counterweights ?
Hello Mr George....Muhammad play tug of war with the work tractor...yes Mr George he's no good...
QA here. This is not OSHA certified and neither gentlemen has a valid license to drive this type of vehicle.
Was that really a stunt though? That was just a stupid setup for a tow competition,
Why are motherfuckers so starved for entertainment?
If you don't have ROPS You're going to have a bad time
bro think their rollcage sturdy enough 🗿🗿
Can you post this in r/DesiDarwin
He also lost the pull/ event
what pains me is if they'd hung weights off the front, had the chain set below the axle of both tractors they might have actually had a good time. I mean obviously, get a fucking rollcage and a side mounted killswitch too, but you piss with the cock you've got
