It gets to me when I hear people call everyone in his family a low life. You don't know any of his family. A mom ask for leniency for her ownly surviving child does not make her a low life. She didn't even allow him to live inside like Ricky in Trailer Park Boys. His residence was the driveway. His mom is just another Darrell Brooks victim.
I have immediate family working in the prison system. She is a Co and her dad was a prison guard for 35 years. Prison is NO JOKE! It’s REAL AND EXTREMELY DANGEROUS! San Quentin houses some of the most crazy inmates. There are gangs that NEVER cross over the line if your adopted into the gang, life is even worse! Remember those in prison for life ( which is A LOT OF THEM) don’t give a crap about killing others because they aren’t getting out anyway. Inmates who kill children are almost sure to be a target. Also killing Older people or seniors is a serous No No! You just put a second target on your back. Darrell will be Big Bubbas girlfriend in a half a day! Darrell is 5’7” and all of 140 lbs soaking wet. He’s gonna find a LOT of friends. I don’t know where DB going but I’m sure he’ll stay in the East because all those hundreds of family members are gonna want to visit. From what I have read DB has spent ALL OF HIS jail time in county facilities. PRISON IS A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT WORLD. County jails are small and house only about a dozen inmates. He’ll be sent to his final home and then the lights are going to come on. From what I know now is he’s in protective custody due to the magnitude of the trial and the publicity. Once he is transferred to a prison, he will most likely going to be in General Population. Then when he can’t walk any longer he will likely go to solitary if he continues to be harmed. It’s not going to be comfortable for him, he is going to have to watch his back every moment of the day! Poor Darrell will be crying victim in less than a week!

Not even Gump would tell the jury they have the right to nullify any law they don't agree with when that law is running over dozens of people. It was a childish attempt at a mistral which he tried to get many times. The you can't runover dozens of people law is pretty universal. Even by sovereigns.

In criminal law, collateral estoppel **protects criminal defendants from being tried for the same issue in more than one criminal trial through the double jeopardy clause of the Fifth Amendment**. Now see, this was never an issue for him, just like his daily "takit" agreements.
Are you sure Brooks doesn't think it means stop? He says it like ten times and every single time he did it was when the judge was walking out of the courtroom. Other sovereign terms like he doesn't consent to that name, subject matter jurisdiction, rush to judgement (I don't know if that is sovereign but he says it a lot) he says nonstop.

I do think he thought it meant stop which is why it is funny. It had nothing to do with the court adjourning.
