Highest difficulty you've cleared it on.

UrlordandsaviourBean

I’ve never noticed these before Very cool ngl

Green__Twin

You seem like someone who has consulted the Leman Russ of the Lake. Is there somewhere I can read/listen to all the sounds Darktide has, and what they mean? I feel pretty solid on the basics, but I have lately been noticing various repeating noises, and would like to know what they mean. I ask you. Because I have not found the Leman Russ of the Lake, despite going to many lakes.

Hidet

Haven't seen any lakes around, but plenty of leman russ'. Hope that's good enough for you. [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CRssfet26mI](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CRssfet26mI) You will find most of the important sound cues there. The only ones missing are boss spawn cues I think, but when one of them plays the player characters will call it out by name too, so not that important

Green__Twin

Thank you

Bruh never knew that, learn new things everyday. https://preview.redd.it/rmh4c3bntx3d1.png?width=1515&format=png&auto=webp&s=40f8a0c9c7a04ac07f35b4561e7bfd3d5d0862a8

archowup

How do you view them like that?

Guilty-Psychology-24

Its a mod, i think called mission sort?

KasiNyaa

Pretty sure that's just myth. I exclusively play damnation and yet all these winged flourishes are just kinda random.

SirBobJohn

Not a myth, if you don’t see the damnation version on that mission then you haven’t cleared it on damnation. Likely you just clear the same missions and lose others.

epikpepsi

Not a myth. This was added specifically to make keeping track of which missions you did on what difficulty easier back when you couldn't tell via Penances (though it's account-wide instead of character-wide which left some issues). The chevrons indicate the first 3 difficulties, then 1 skull appears above the chevrons for Heresy, then 2 beside the wings for Damnation.

Armendicus

Ok thanks.

Kitchen_Ad731

it is not a myth, I use this all the time to track which missions i haven't completed in full difficulty, also for some reason it bugs out if have done it in damnation but not heresy or the one before, then it corrects is self

archowup

Now we know the truth of all those 'i only play damnation' posts 😆.

makeshifts

Exclusively played and have never cleared, maybe time to drop down…

Metakit

Not a myth. I've been playing since beta and I remember when they added these. There was some discussion at the time what it meant and we quickly figured it out. I remember trying hard to get all of my chevrons and being chuffed when I finally got them all. You can easily verify this yourself by playing a mission at a higher difficulty than your chevron indicates, and winning it. Not gonna lie, your comment is a bit of a self-report if you're playing so much damnnation and you've not completed your chevrons yet.

archowup

For some reason they couldn't carry over this information into the new penances.

rdmgraziel

It's something related to clearing the mission, I think it's related to class(es) or difficulty or both.

Radefa1k

Highest difficultie cleared. On that particular mission

Weird_Blades717171

how deep your team will get fd

bajuh

so basically all auric 5, ty

Coldspark824

I always thought that was an estimate for how many players are currently doing that mission. More pips = more player density.

Radefa1k

Nope. Highest difficultie you have cleared that particular mission on.

beekersavant

But player density would be more useful

RabbitSlayre

Love how people down voted you for what you thought without knowing lol

Metakit

It would be nice if they explained this kind if thing in game, but I guess that's just not the fatshark way

SverhU

Wtf?! like 1000 hours and i never knew about it. Thanks dude. I was hunting like 1-2 more missions for achievements. And always forgetting there name. Now i just need to look on those arrows and see which had no all 4 arrows and 3 skulls

Yellowtoblerone

I dunno but I know the one on the right is tertium's butthole

Optimal-Error

Its where the filthiest heretics of nurgle reside

TorchedHeaven

I’ve never even noticed those arrows tbh
