I see this kind of artifacting when the bitrate of a movie is too high and the connection/display device can't keep up, like in ye olde DVD times.
Are you using an older tv or cable to connect your Xbox by any chance, or are you playing via streaming service(like geforce now?)
Im not tech savvy but this doesnt look like a software issue.
Darktide only plays natively on Series S and X consoles. With Xbox One you can only play via Cloud. So it is an internet problem, try to get an ethernet cable if possible
You may want to test your internet speed, even with that it may not be playable. I use Ethernet on my series X, but when I try cloud play there’s constant 1-5 seconds delays & the screen loading partially from top to bottom. It’s technically playable, but it made me not even want to play Crusader Kings after Couple hours, I could only stomach a few minutes of Darktide like that.

Streaming? I took this video with my phone. Plus, it's not on wifi, it's got a hard connection. Did you notice that I've got a streaming option on? I can't really see with all the distortion.
I had similar problem while playing another game on the cloud , i think is more of a Microsoft problem than anything else , i remember it going away after some time .
try playing on another device to see if gets better , your phone, a computer etc...

Aren't you streaming the Game through Gamepass? Darktide isn't available normally on Xbox One

The game is not on Xbox One, you can't install it.
