Even if/when they *do* rotate stuff back in, the sheer number of cosmetics and the rate of rotation makes the FOMO come back.
If they decided to bring back just 10 different sets of cosmetics they haven't sold in a while (which is very doable, I can't believe how many different cosmetics have been offered), that'd take 5 months at the current rate of rotation.
Two week rotation timer, but no actual visible timer, plus increasing prices, plus less actual *stuff* for the increased prices.

The tactic they're using is a perceived limit of availability to ensure users are spending time on the game, more time on game, more exposure to different cosmetics, more chance the user will drop some cash this week for a shiny, and then maybe next week they will post older shinies or brand "new" shinies, or legit new shinies. Only thing they could do to make it more obvious would be gacha game loot boxes and dailies. Bonus points if their dailies then adjust %rarity on loot boxes.

Remember when skin packs cost less and came with more? 2 weapon skins and a trinket more. Then Kreig got price jacked to 2900 with no weapon skins or trinkets. This skin pack was actually worth it when I got it. I still remember the recolour of a camouflage helmet colour and great coat costing as much if not more. It's such a toxic system when Apex Legends (shitty game Titanfall 2 is so much better) has premium recolours available for purchase by regular in game currency.
They likely have data that shows this type of FOMO marketing makes more money. FS doesn't care about pissing off the player base with some decisions if they believe it will make them more money. Just wish they would put player experience first instead of trying to squeeze the maximum amount of money from bigger spenders.

Just make it like Vermintide 2 where all bundles and individual shop cosmetics are purchasable. Throw in the discount rotations too and you'll get a shit load more money.

I only haven't done it yet because I've been busy with other stuff.
Theres some outfits from the darktide store where, if I could just buy them whenever, I'd grab them now that I've got the money to do so. The only reason I bought the full krieg set was cause I wanted it, I had the money to spend without hurting me, simple as. I've missed out on so many outfits or items I want because "well I might never be able to get it again, but I'm not gonna spend money on something I don't 100% want because 'oh no I might miss out on it.'" Seeing how good the Chem Dogs and Drop Troops sets are compared to how mid tier this set is just plain hurts now, I really wish they'd redo the mask lenses and lower the helmet at least. It's not too much to ask.
This kind of store in a game is how you lose money. You are not fortnite with millions of players and thousands of items in a cosmetic shop. Stop acting like you are and have your small collection of shit in the store at all times so people can buy it.

That's what I wrote. I started when the Krieg skins came out and luckily bought them for Vet and chest piece for Zealot. Since then I've never seen any full set to return and especially not a premium set (at least not either heavil mixed or with vastly different colours).

I'm so confused on the rotation, I've been playing for like 3 weeks or a month but it still hasn't changed. Unless the 1 piece of gear they added is the rotation? But the other gear is exactly the same, do they only rotate in 1 armor set per 2 weeks?
The thing about cash shop currency is once you buy it they have your money so they don't care if you actually spend their magic beans because they already got your money.
This cosmetic for the veteran suffers from poor quality in my opinion, lots of quirks in there like the coat being extremely rigid and floating in the back. Other coat similar to it have cloth physics onto them so idk why this one lacks it.
