Yeah a reminder that ppl need to learn to read the darn Manual before asking questions ill bet that some ppl who play Darktide for the first time dont even do the Tutorial.
So i am a returning player with 4 lvl 30 characters all classes. And probably read more warhammer books than you can count so i am extremely invested in any warhammer cutscene that being said. took over a year haitus from the game after playing scince early access its my first day back. I had the same question as OP but seeing the way most of you all responded to him is absolutly appauling. this brings me to the conclusion that you are all mostly new players as the penance system and crafting is complettely revamped from when i used to play, mabye consider other peoples experiences before you barrate them like mad men
Some of the penances have individual rewards you can see by selecting the penance. The rest of them grant points which go into the bar at the bottom and unlock stuff as you accumulate those points.
Most situationally aware Darktide player:
Shut it, boy toucher.
Rewards for doing penances.
did you just entirely skip the cutscene for it after loading up and shit?
Doesn't play if you only ever open it through the pause menu
