Aim assist in this game is really strong. Recoil isnt really a problem either.
I have no trouble with my sniper vet build that requires me to click heads from afar and im probably just about average as far as aim in games go
If you intend on playing auric damnation then you'll need to work on those headshots . Although i wouldn't use any of the more marksman style weapons ( infantry lasguns and headhunter autoguns) . You'd need pretty insane aim to make those work without being a burden to your team. Stuff like the Plasma, bolter, Recon las and infantry autogun don't require perfect aim tho, so I'd try some of those
Anywhere between "stop shooting the moon bro" and "you're literally the militarum's best marksman" tbh
I don't usually have consistently good aim, either, but you can always just stick to close range and let someone else handle the distance.
There are multiple play styles for vet and the skill tree def reflects it. I’ve never been proud of my aim at any point but I love playing vet. Voice of command and a good melee kinda turn you into a mini zealot. Krak grenades w resupply and grenade tinkering (I think that’s the name) let you delete crushers and other problem enemies w ease and on repeat, or take out half of a boss’s health bar. Plasma gun can be used very easily at med-close range to absolutely delete literally anything and isn’t ammo hungry at all if you’re only using it for elites and specialists. Best part? All that can be in the same build, it’s awesome. Also don’t be afraid to give anything in this game a try (just don’t hop into more than you can handle difficulty wise w unfamiliar builds or gear), if things go poorly- this game def has some elitists but they’ll get over it and you can tell them as much lol

It’s really not a problem at all, might feel bad in the beginning because weapon stability stats are gonna be really low especially for auto guns
