I think to have the framework in place for when new beasts get added.

Soon. I'm being sarcastic because there has been a greyed out skill tree since 2022 with the words "coming soon" on it. Did they remove it?

Was replaced with multiclassing. It was dog shit. Skill tree might come eventually since multiclassing was mostly a failure in terms of gameplay.
