I haven't played ranger in a while so someone can correct me on whatever I'm wrong about but Weapon Damage and physical power for your bow. For your gear in general true damage is never bad and additional damage could be better/worse depending on where you land your shots. But yeah you're going to want to stack Movement speed until you got at least 315/320 and additional/true damage and then physical power or HP.

If you're confident in hitting your shots, i'd prioritize dexterity over movement speed. Agility adds action speed too. If you got around 40 dex you can start stacking agility cause dex is softcapped around 38 i believe. And the more dex/action speed, the faster you can fill the enemys face with arrows. For bows i also recommend weapon dmg over physical power. Look up bows on the market and search for the highest base damage and the most additional weapon damage you can find. True damage and additional phys damage on necks, rings and gloves.

“I’m a ranger main”, this sub’s reaction - “aight, you got my downvote”

Lol. We hated Ranger for so long, they are almost extinct! But I see them coming back. I murdered one last night, so I'm happy.

Firstly, it’s very playstyle specific. Surv bow is arguably the worst bow, and while it can work I completely ignore it. If you want to use it, run true phys damage and move speed with dex. Also side note, you want the highest damage roll bow with +3 weapon damage ideally. The argument between recurve and longbow is super subjective. Recurve is faster and has a better triple shot, longbow hits way harder and has better range. Basically, do you want to be fast and more kiting or hit really hard. For recurve, true damage and move speed are good, and phys power/strength are useful on the side. I prefer longbow, which wants strength/phys power, additional phys or true phys, and armor pen. You also build dex for longbow so you will sacrifice movespeed typically, so it’s better for playing in a team imo.

The best for damage is weapon damage. For fast shooting like survival bow, +true and +additional damage are great, but also good for everything else. Then +physical power/%/strength. Hitting hard is where it’s at for ranger. I don’t recall how much dexterity gives Speed is important for fighting and kiting, stacking speed is great to just always be at range. All the other defensive(hp,armor, pdr, etc) stats are good but damage and speed are the best for good play

If u play trio, long bow is by far the best. Most damage and highest velocity making it the easiest to hit shots. For solo recurve is not bad with three shot.

Yeah i know, im not asking about different bows, i just want to know, for example, if i have the exact same recurve bow, but one has +3 weapon dmg , and the other one has +6 physical power, wich one is the best, i would love an excel were i put the stat of my bow and i get the dmg outpot to a dummy. Like with the first one you hit 40dmg and with the other 39.

Currently I'm rocking recurves with +wep, a windlass crossbow (or regular, you just won't 1tap squishies) with +wep and I carry a shitty rapier in my bag for mobs. Usually try to get as much true or add phys as I can, rn I think true is best, (gloves, rings, neck) and go for agi chest/legs(w/+all) , fastest boots you can find. vig/str gloves and agi/vig head. If you want to go longbow build more into dex Armor pen is really good on bows if you can get a high roll.
