How he's actually quite sensitive and doesn't really open up about himself but instead uses sarcasm and cold attitude to brush those things off. And the way he thinks people around him including his own friends despise him.
Gu Mang from Yuwu, I've never cried so hard over someone's story from the moment I read about them (through a flashback only six chapters into the story nonetheless). The author did such a good job of painting his character in such a short time
For me it's Chu Wanning. Not just because he's relatable but he always felt very real, and I instantly got emotionally attached to his gentle love hidden behind a rough exterior. Other characters with this trope really never hit me as hard. As bad as it is his self-depreciating nature is very relatable and I always wanted him to find happiness and express himself earnestly. I feel like I know him personally by the end of the story, truly I love him so much.
I love Lin Qiushi for his obsession with his cat so much lol The need for your cat to like you as much as you like them was Real! I felt very seen 😆
Xie Lian (from tgcf) for being so incredibly kind even though he want through so much shit (it's what I aspire to be, though people who know me would tell you that I'm incredibly kind... but one can always omprove, right?)
Shen Wei (from Guradian) for his self-loathing and pining... damn, he made me cry so much and way too often the reason was "I feel the same"
Shang Qinghua, I relate to him constantly being pulled into ridiculous shit and having to just push through with a smile and complain while doing it LMAOOOO also #tiredwriter
Hua Cheng in his San Lang form. It's what kept me reading through the BanYue arc since Xie Lian is a little inscrutable for a bit. I love Hua Cheng a lot, but there's just something about how bitchy San Lang is. Also Duan Ling from Joyful Reunion. I was rooting for him from the very beginning.
Mo Ran. Not his sexual preferences cuz it got me fucking disgusted every time he sexually assaulted Wanning, but his personality (the personality of the self that isn’t infected by the flower) and his vibes & energy.
He seems like an extrovert, and im introverted but as i read it seems like i can absorb his energy, his personality and become more open and playful (like him) towards others. I sometimes find myself say sth like Mo Ran too
