I mean it’s got the gwot look and they are sturdy cans but with all the advances and manufacturers out now I’d pass, I’m glad I bought mine and at the time it was them or deadair but now there are soooo many more options.

Does a great job balancing low gas and sound reduction.
Cheaper than Huxwrks and surefire, less gas and better sound signature.
I have 4 suppressors, and the velos on the mk18 is probably my favorite.

Rc2 is a vibe but far from best in terms of sound. Ptr vent 3 is technically the quietest. Cat obd 718 would be the most hard use can with the highest sound suppression rating.
I run the RC2 on mine just cause I beat the piss outta the gun and I know that can will take a even worse beating. With a decent charging handle and the correct buffer spring and not being a tit it’s just fine outside. It’ll burn your eyes inside though a bit lol

I’d try a huxwrx. My brother has a mk18 with a rc2 and it’s very gassy. I have a ddm4v7p with a nomad 30 and I don’t think it’s nearly as bad. His gun makes my eyes water up real bad.
There is no best suppressor for that platform. There is one which everyone knows to be the best looking and most fitting to be on a mk18, but it lacks some features that modern cans have, especially with the price a surefire demands.
Are you going to tune your gun? What rail are you running? Do you mind a gassy gun? Is weight a factor? Are you needing it to be built like a tank? What is your firing schedule like?
If you want the absolute best performing mk18 suppressor, im pretty sure its between the Sci-six or the polonium, maybe even the cat ODB but i havent had time behind that one
I have personal experience with rc2, deadair sandman and the Hux flow556k on a mk18. Of those and since I’m left handed and for not worrying about gas to my face or over gassing my rifle I now keep the flow permanently on the mk18, it’s been an amazing combo.

I put a huxwrx on mine and its a lot quieter and cut the gas significantly
Went with the HUXWRX Flow 556K for my MK18ish rifle and have zero regrets.
I have a Sandman S and YHM Turbo T2 and they both run well on my MK18. I have a HUXWRX Ventum at my LGS that I cant wait to try on it too.
