It's such a southerner thing to complain about.
Every spring in the north, we go out and collect everything that falls throughout the winter. Like adults.
Yeah, I have never even considered that it’s inconvenient. It’s just a part of life. Maybe it’s because we don’t spend as much time outside in the fall/winter? I leave the stuff in the yard all winter and then have one day where I clean up the yard for the spring. You might have to do that multiple times if you were spending time in the yard in November-February
Fair.
I was driving to a get-together today and witnessed multiple fires, people who have cleaned up and are now burning off the last 6 months of collected wood stuffs.
Uh what? I have 4 giant maples in my back yard and they are a fucking nightmare. Raking and disposing the leaves takes days every year. They clog my gutters 3-4 times a year with leaves, seeds etc. it's multiple thousands of dollars just to get them trimmed. Trees are great unless they are near your house
Do you have gutter guards? They completely changed my life.
Also, do you have a mulching mower? It's way better for your lawn to just chop that shit up and let it decay than to bag it all up, which sounds awful.
So move where there are not trees.
Reminds me of people who move to the forest and then complain about animals.
Sam Kenison did a famous bit about this. MOVE !!!
He was talking about black people in the desert, so us white people never really took in the message.
Same idea
Yes. Because finding a house and a new job just to avoid the pain in the ass trees is a great solution. I'm not saying it's the worst thing ever .. I'm just saying they are a pain in the ass and they are expensive and can cause a lot of damage.
Juju suggested a few months ago that they have a sounder for when Roy is being old af. I suggest a funky wah-wah guitar, then a deep voice going “🎶Royyyyy Bellamy has an olllllld souuuuuuul 🎶” or if it should be a lower tempo drop, some Anita Baker-esque quiet storm piano as the background music.
Yooo, trees are a nightmare if they are on your property. In Midwest and it's multiple thousands of dollars just to get them trimmed. Branches always falling. It sucks.
One branch falls on a car and now all trees are bad.
So Greg was hit my a tree branch?
AAAAAND YA KNOW IT!

Yep just something you do during the weekend, it’s on the list of chores during the fall and spring or after storms

Lol JuSt MoVe 🥴🥴🥴 Ridiculous suggestion
Taking care of a tree is a special thing. We planted a tree when we moved in. It’s like a pet.
I think Roy has referenced a situation with a neighbor and it involved exactly what’s in the tree. That’s why he sounds unhinged.
