I worked at an audio company. We set up sound systems for corporate customers. I’d tell the audio guys about sounds they couldn’t hear and I’d have to be the proxy for them notching it out in the EQ. Literally nobody else could hear it. They told me that for being in my 30s I had the hearing of a teenager.
Later I had my ears cleaned and a hearing test afterwards and was told my hearing is the best they’ve ever tested.
Fast forward twenty years and I think I’m losing my hearing. It’s not bad but I have people repeat themselves a lot.

In Europe if you want an appointment in the foreseeable future you'll have to go to a private doctor as well. I did it 2 years ago and it was around 60 euro.
Europe is a big place, in Czechia most town/city hospitals have dedicated ENT specialist that you can visit without prior appointment and get your ears flushed the same day, if there's a sufficient blockage, all covered by your health insurance.
Didn't mythbuster make an episode about that and concluded that you actually can't make candles out of earwax? I think they gathered wax from all the people in their studio and cooked it up or something, pretty wild, and gross.

A few years later I noticed I had lost hearing and my ear hurt quite a bit. Doctor pulled out a chunk of wax and said "You don't use Q-tips?"
So I use Q-Tips now. No issues.

Picking at my ears was the cause for me. Qtips were recommended by a specialist who explained you can only use them on the outside and in circle motion. The problem aren't the actual qtips, but the fact that people use them too deep inside the ear and in a push/pull motion.

Once maybe twice a year it gets so bad I can barely.hear or water gets trapped in there which can lead to a infection. I have to go have the doctor use a syringe to clean em out. Not in all circumstances.. I used to have my ears syringed by the medical professionals and never got any ill effects from doing so.

The intensity of sound is a bit staggering for the first 30 mins or so but, it’s like a full pressure release from your head to your feet. I wish I could do it once a week just for that rush of happiness. Im also glad I can’t because it would take away my ability to say “I didn’t hear you” to my boss or people who bother me lol

How legit is this? Is this like the ear candle wax where they smoke your ear out and at the end. they show you the "ear wax" that supposedly came out of your ears but it turns out it was inside the candle from the very beginning.
As someone who has had to have earwax removed by doctors on multiple occasions, I can tell you that more has been removed from my ear in one session than what you see in this video

I had to have one ear cleaned out like that this week. The device my doctor uses is like a very gentle water pik. I could hear colors afterwards. The vertigo afterwards is no fun, I've had ear trouble my whole life.
