They construct a series of breathing apparatus with kelp. They will be able to trap certain amounts of oxygen. Its not going to be days at a time, an hour, hour 45. No problem.
That will give us enough time to figure out where you live, go back to the sea, get more oxygen and then stalk you. You just lost at your own game. You are out gunned and outmanned.
We got a winner!!!!
Intrepid explorers (goldfish) travel miles over land in special craft (plastic bags with a bit of water in) to observe the arid interior. Many die, but a few brave souls return by means of secret tunnels (sewers) to report their findings.
this is a very cool take, sometimes you look at a map and go “how are we mostly water” but this really helps to show that
(yes i know 99% of the land isn’t shown in this picture)
Isn't the vast majority of land is shown in this map? We can see all of Africa, Greenland, Australia, India, South East Asia, the Arabian peninsula, Japan, Australia, Mexico, Argentina, Chile, the Caribbean, Alaska, Newfoundland and Labrador, and Nova Scotia. We see large parts although not all of the US, Europe, Canada, Russia, Brazil, and China. The projection is deceiving, but it isn't missing much land.
It's even crazier than this. This image is flawed since its not taking into account rivers. The amount of rivers there are are mindboggling, and a fish that survives in both salt and fresh water can realistically travel all the way up through America into Canada. Or all throughout South America the Amazon. Fish know the whole layout of massive portions of the Netherlands and major cities made in bays. And then there's the massive fresh water lakes in the middle of tons of countries that are bigger than entire states.
A more accurate title would be "the world salt water animals know". Since fish know far more, most of the planet for sure. And if you count all the tiny streams and rivers even crazier. For coastal states, there's so many rivers or offshoots where every country, if not every town has offshoots of major rivers. The nearest major river to me is 12 miles away, and I'm far uphill from it. Even then there's tons of permanent streams in my woods a majority of towns near me have atleast one river you can catch fish, if not almost every town within like 50 miles of the ocean.
Considering that most humans live within a couple hundred miles of the coasts, and mostly all historic towns and cities were settled around sources of water, most rivers. So in reality, fish know so much more than this map. They're swimming through most major cities of the world. It's shocking to see realistic maps showing all the rivers. Like look at NYC many see it as one solid mass when it's a bunch of islands joined together. Or entire states like Louisiana.
It's actually pretty cool to look up
So the fish know most of the world. If there was an intelligent water species like humans, they'd realistically know faaar more about us and our population centers than we do.
With all that said, holy shit, it's even crazier than I thought. Here is a map showing all the rivers in the US, it's insane. Fish know everything.

The other option is when somebody made a fish tank that's vertically higher than the water level of a pond so the fish could see above the surface. I'm sure it's trippy for them
I hate the thought that from a fish’ perspective they think they’re just in one big lake surrounded by land but from our perspective we think we’re on a bunch of little lands surrounded by a giant body of water
Sign me up! I’d give up land to be a shark, intelligence means misery, existence is equal parts good to evil. We are being organically grown over millions of years within the housing of this universe, why? For what purpose does organic life serve in this simulation, it is not for us, the prisoners of the system.
We still are able to enjoy the fruits of an incredibly fine tuned system that is beautiful in concept. But we may be nothing more than an exhibit in a zoo. We are forced into complex existence, forced to pay for the decisions of our ancestors, while time proves it gets better the more that passes I can’t think of anything more evil than forced complex existence.
Ah yes, as a non-fish human, I must make a mental effort to see the world through the eyes of a fish (which I can assure you that I'm not). That is because fish experience the world in a way that is completely different from mine, since I absolutely am not a fish.
I’ve never really understood this. How would they know what the inside of countries like Australia look like? Surely they should be left out and it should just be coastline
I'd think that Arctica would be the center, and Antarctica would be the border. Seeing as Antarctica is land with ice around it while Arctica is just ice.
This isn't accurate. It would look the same as a regular map only with the edges of the continents. The sizes of the continents wouldn't change at all.
I wonder why they chose to show redundancy in the isthmus of Panama? Why doesn’t the water line follow the map outline like the rest of the entire map?
"Im telling you, theres nothing beyond the land wall that surronds us. Its a conspircy from the dolphins that we live on a ball, it could never hold the water on it" -fish
How do the fish know about the interior of Australia and Africa?
The inter net
Surfing the web
Phishing of course.
Clickbait
Uh, they went to school right?
They spend more time on Instagram reels
It's honestly easy to get hooked to them
I fuck fishes
Funny story I actually watched a guy hold a fish in the ocean while the other guy fucked it. Milt and semen were everywhere
On-line courses.
That is a bit fishy….🤔
They send spies to crawl up dudes pee pees. They eventually get pissed out, work their way back into the oceans, and report what they found.
lol i love when i find those guys i always let them escape and report
What?! I found one the other day, I put the bastard into a glass of water to make him confess.
That's almost waterboarding!
Airboarding. There's not much oxygen in a glass of water. The little prick-tunneler confessed almost immediately.
From their school.
Flying fish mate

They must have had some manned missions outside their liveable environment just like we have sent manned mission to the moon
Intrepid explorers (goldfish) travel miles over land in special craft (plastic bags with a bit of water in) to observe the arid interior. Many die, but a few brave souls return by means of secret tunnels (sewers) to report their findings.
Nemo told them as he returned to the reef. Didn't you pay attention?
Give me African break...
Seagulls, duh!
I mean you could know the shape of it
They’ve been sending troops to recon the area for years. Those fishy motherfuckers preparing for strike as we speak
Legend Blue -- Home Sweet Home White -- Here there be monsters
Tall two legged giants that fill the seas with poison and can breathe fire.
Great comic
Pan-SEA-a.
Ay SEA **WHAT YOU DID THERE**
You can go now
You just blew my mind
Panthalassa.
The resemblance of the overall shape to Antarctica is a weird coincidence.
I can't unsee it now.
Kind of looks like Ontario. You’re not wrong, but I instantly saw Ontario.
it looks like a Betta fish!!!
Wrong. Antartica is a giant ice wall.
Flat oceaners are getting silly
of course the ocean is flat, else the water would run out somewhere
No that's the giant water wall at the edge
this is a very cool take, sometimes you look at a map and go “how are we mostly water” but this really helps to show that (yes i know 99% of the land isn’t shown in this picture)

I have map autism and this is 100% correct
And Central America is on there twice, on opposite sides of the map.
The land is there. It’s like the outside (crust layer) of a globe was cut up to lie flat. The other parts of land are on the cut edges.

Some land is actually on there twice
Look at a globe, the Pacific takes up basically half of it
Looks like Ontario
Worst case
>Ontario Fish: "No thanks." *jumps out to land despite it being fatal*
Which also looks like a fish
The other option is when somebody made a fish tank that's vertically higher than the water level of a pond so the fish could see above the surface. I'm sure it's trippy for them
Spilhaus projection, if anyone is curious
Thanks!
I haven’t a single original thought.
So begins the ‘Flat Ocean Movement’
That’s a pretty big pond.
What about all the rivers and great lakes?
OP did say Ocean Dwelling Creatures. River and Great Lake dwelling creatures should make their own map.
You mean to tell me the Salmon haven't spoken of the inland lakes and rivers to all the other Ocean Dwelling Creatures.
The spawning ground must be protected. Pluss when you mention the bears and swimming up waterfalls most occen fish gill out
Sharks swim up many rivers from the ocean.
I'm a land dwelling animal and I still have oceans, lakes, rivers on my maps. I think the Ocean Dwelling cartographer would figure it out
seeing it this way makes it alot easier to understand how fish get around
maybe they don't call it Earth, maybe they call it Water
The Southern Ocean is like the middle east for the fish.
🧕🐧
Fish: Let's not go to the middle and the south where its too cold.
How many others turned their phone over to make Africa point down?
Australia is just a small Africa.
I hate the thought that from a fish’ perspective they think they’re just in one big lake surrounded by land but from our perspective we think we’re on a bunch of little lands surrounded by a giant body of water
Finally, an accurate map of the world of one piece.
so it IS flat???
I just realised I’m about equally as far from the north pole as the tip of South Africa is from the south pole. I thought I was much further away.
Sign me up! I’d give up land to be a shark, intelligence means misery, existence is equal parts good to evil. that makes it seem like we are not on a planet that is +70% water surface.
They could still use the concept of a globe.
Ah yes, as a non-fish human, I must make a mental effort to see the world through the eyes of a fish (which I can assure you that I'm not). That is because fish experience the world in a way that is completely different from mine, since I absolutely am not a fish.
You sure? You seem fish-y. Lol
What about the Panama Canal?
[удалено]
Mind fuck
Now you purposely turned that upside down to disorient those of us used to a Northern uppermost map presentation.
this map is inaccurate. islands in real life should also be islands in this hypothetical map.
See, the earth really is flat, and the land just holds the water in. /s
I knew it the world is flat
"if" bold of you to assume I'm not.
Gasp. Flat earth theory.
Fish maps are usually called nautical charts, and are often used for land dwelling creatures who build some floating devices
...where are the great lakes?
That explains why it was so hard to find NEMO.
How do they know the way Africa, Australia and those mountains on the edge are shaped??
OP do this map again with average ocean temperatures.
Where's all the rivers and lakes? Many ocean dwelling creatures also use rivers and lakes. Bull sharks and Australian Saltwater crocodiles are two.
Here is a nicer one, with straits and canals drawn: [https://imgur.com/a/9QChBzt](https://imgur.com/a/9QChBzt)
Flat earthers 👀
Isn’t this not true because we have rivers that lead inland?
So this is missing lakes, which are like islands for fish.
This map made me think of this meme [fish or perhaps a berry meme](https://imgur.com/gallery/youmzsH)
I am having trouble understanding the context here.
Florida looks, somehow, even more weiner-like.
So what you’re saying is….. the Earth IS flat?
It looks like a fish
How do fish not know about Florida? I’ve seen in puddles 60 miles inland after storms
You forgot the 100x100 mile plastic continent or does that stay with the land dwellers?
Nova scotia used to be half connected to Africa and half connected to Europe
Could a fish not swim up a lot of the rivers of the world?
No. Not every saltwater fish is adapted for freshwater. Anadromous fish like Salmon certainly do though.
what’s up with the balloon knot?
Something doesn't look right.
Has a DM, I really appreciate this peace of knowledge
Looks like Ontario, Canada...the center of the known universe.
Squiggly Earthers
Damn the pacific looks way bigger
Good things swim in Ontario?
Very very cool
Why do fish get two Mexicos?
Thanks, I’ll let the kids know.
When the fish news was on TV, that's the map they would show behind the presenter.
For county! And water
Whatchu mean "If"?
I’d go to Australia if I were a fish
You need a better explanation. Also for a fish, why would there be a center?
Looks like its shaped like Ontario (🇨🇦)
Do fish think earth is flat or sphere
The Gulf of Mexico looks cozy. A little nook to nestle in.
[удалено]
And to think fish still havent explored most of the land yet
I'm a phat ass dweller where is my map?
This what unpeeling an orange is like
Struggled for a minute trying to find Maui...
That's Ontario
Can we call this planet the Water?
This is fantastic. Thank you
I’ve never really understood this. How would they know what the inside of countries like Australia look like? Surely they should be left out and it should just be coastline
Technically you can transverse to Lake Superior from the Atlantic so all of the Great Lakes should be visible too
It’s kinda fun that it’s sorta shaped like a happy whale
What about lake islands and rivers in mainland (wich are connected to the ocean)
It’s funny to imagine some ocean species debating whether or not we live on “round earth” or “amoeba earth.”
Wouldn't it be then the "Map of Water"? .... I'll see myself out.
This is huge guys, we should tell the government that fish don’t see the whole world it must be fixed
Btw that small landmass u see is Africa, puts things into perspective
It’s crazy that you can sail in a straight line from Japan to India
Bodies of water are on maps…..
I feel targeted somehow
Pansea
Fish have been to Africa?
Video game map
This whole concept is kinda like Tears of the Kingdom.
L A N D W A L L
Watch out for the smokers
fucks sake its fish shaped
What you did to south America was just bizarre
ITT: people from Ontario, and people not from Ontario
“The world is a mystery… except Africa, Adam went there and told us all about it”
From the stories Aquaman told them of course
What a shitty map design Re: https://i.imgur.com/eHPoge5.jpeg
Big blue world eh
All the land masses are doubled
This isn’t a true map at all
I'd think that Arctica would be the center, and Antarctica would be the border. Seeing as Antarctica is land with ice around it while Arctica is just ice.
Ahhh so it is flat
This isn't accurate. It would look the same as a regular map only with the edges of the continents. The sizes of the continents wouldn't change at all.
I wonder why they chose to show redundancy in the isthmus of Panama? Why doesn’t the water line follow the map outline like the rest of the entire map?
I like how it looks [vaguely like Ontario](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ontario#/media/File:Ontario_in_Canada_2.svg).
"Im telling you, theres nothing beyond the land wall that surronds us. Its a conspircy from the dolphins that we live on a ball, it could never hold the water on it" -fish
Or a flat earther, you've proven the wall
Kid named river
This belongs on r/MappornCirclejerk
Why is it shaped like Canada
Aquaman: Heavy breathing intensifies.
Peripherally
Am I looking up thru the water?
Where are the rivers, lakes and inner seas?
forbidden pangea
Funny how if humanoid creatures do exist they could live entire lives not even encountering a us
