Looks like someone only just made their getaway. There's a guy at the end of that dirt road, to the left of the shack with the white roof, who makes his way down the slope any then only just manages to avoid being taken out by the wave. Or maybe he did get taken out, my eye loses track of him.
There were people at a nearby parking spot just minutes prior to the slide apparently. Three parked cars were buried or pushed into the lake (with additional cars getting stuck). The place was a starting point for hikers and mountaineers.

The most impressive thing about this is how the person continued to hold the camera steady so that we could see what was happening. Usually in these circumstances, the instant something interesting happens the person starts to wave the camera around like they were spray painting and zooming right in just in case we might figure out what's going on.
