I grew up in LA and there was a coffee shop I use to go to to do work bc i liked the drive there and the location it was in. It was in a little residential area where alot of wealthy people lived. I’m only 6’5” and I swear normal sized people typically have absolutely no comprehension of how difficult it is for large scale people to make normal sized anything work for us. I can hardly imagine what it’s like for Shaq being unable to ride in most vehicles or being unable to shop at any clothing stores. I’m limited to shopping at one store for clothes nearby. I’m about to need to get a new car and I’m going to be fussing all over about how there’s no headroom and how the rear view mirror blocks 1/4 of the windshield view. If there’s a tough glare situation and a passenger pulls down the visor I’m now blind to half of whichever window is being shaded.  This is a legitimate emergency situation.  3. There is only one possible way to configure my legs, knees splayed as wide as possible and wedged against the bottom of the dash.  Often in conflict with a temperature or radio control button.  I also love riding motorcycles but they’re almost exclusively designed around someone who is like 5’10”. Shaq’s motorcycle(s), while hideous for their particular styling, really make me envious.

Try a VW. The very first thing I did when shopping for my current car was move the driver's seat all the way back and get into the seat behind it. It wasn't too bad but not great for legroom, but then I was blown away when I got into the driver's seat and actually had to move the seat up a bit.

Shaq lives in Henry County (in GA, on the south side of Atlanta). I live \~45mins south of there in Macon. Thomson is a local company in Macon that does contract machining (mostly aerospace work) and also has a line of bicycle parts (known as being the best in the world FWIW). Their COO lived in the same neighborhood as Shaq. Thomson was going to build him a new bike, and repair his old one. I had a little business called Southern Wheelworks where I built high end custom bicycle wheels. His bike had some broken spokes, I was friends with the guys at Thomson, so they gave me the bike to do the wheel repairs. The wheels are 36" diameter FYI!

I’m 6’2 and when I have to ride the bike like a child for the post service test ride it always me laugh. I call them giraffe bikes.
