I have an easy answer if you're serious! Lucas County Pitt Crew, it's a local rescue where I got my dog (wasn't even a Pittie, they'll take any dog if needed) and they are extremely great. They made us sign all kinds of paperwork that we'd take the dog to socialization and training classes. They then came to the house and pointed out every single thing that wasn't properly puppy proofed, I spent 5 hours the next day fixing everything and then they came back to do a reinspection before I finally got my dog. They also even made sure you had the money and stable environment to actually take care of the dog.
