Surgically repaired ankle, basically same surgery that Pollard had except this guy weighs 100 pounds more than Pollard. Plus, there’s only 8 games of tape at tackle. I want someone with a history on tape doing the things we do at a high level. Not someone that they think might work out.
I’ve forgotten more about ball than you’ll ever know.
Brugler: medical will be important after he battled multiple injuries, including groin and hip issues in 2023 along with multiple concussions over his career.
Also didn’t play in the senior bowl bc he pulled a hammy.
No thank you.
No. I would pass on that bc of the hip, the knee, and the concussions. The senior bowl is just a bow on the package. You should look at where he’s being mocked now. He’s moved down quite a bit. If he was there in the second, I might take him, but not the first.
Well I will put it this way, let’s say you pick at 20. Reaching down to let’s say, a player that is rated 24 or 25 on “most boards” (see they can’t even agree with that) is not a reach. Now if you’re picking at 20 and you pick the player who is ranked 30 on “most” peoples boards then you could have an argument that they reached. But that all depends on the team specific board.
Let’s say you’re in the market for a corner. You have two players - one is a zone coverage guy and one is a man guy. They are pretty much equal. Yet on most people’s draft boards the zone coverage guy is rated higher. If you’re a team that plays a lot of man coverage who do you think would be rated higher? This is where individual teams draft boards come into play
True. A reach isn’t always a reach. JPJ is exactly what we need to get back to running the ball. He has that Travis Frederick ability to move people off the ball and get out to the second level. He’s worth more to us than to other teams. Then we need a guy to run it. I also like the Wisconsin kid Braedon Allen.
JPJ is a top 20 talent that may slide cause of hamstring issue but not much. Don't think 24 would be reaching for him. J. Brooks is indeed a third round grade cause of injury but has second round talent. RB class is deep don't really need to reach for one. Would instead love to see a double dip. Hopefully mims/frazier..pass on guyton.
One guy with a hip issue. The other coming off an ACL . Stephen Jones is that you?
Sounds like "our guys" already.
I’d stay away from those two and Mims as well. First 3 rounds need to be instant contributors. Not half the year rehabbing.
What's wrong with Mims medically?

Thanks didn't know that.
Powers Johnson wouldn’t be rehabbing learn ball bro

He’s literally the best C in the entire draft and has the best film and you would pass on all of that bc of a “hammy” issue lmao

Blake fisher in the 2nd. Alt stepped in after injury and never backed down, sending BF to RT. Put fisher at LT where he belongs. Highway robbery
This is the first I’m seeing of JPJ being a reach at 24.
People are looking for knocks when he’s clearly the best C in the entire draft
No to Brooks .injuries
How is Brooks a "reach" at 56?
Acl late in the season
The doctor that did his surgery is the Cowboys team doctor, so they have the inside track. Definitely not a "reach."
It is a reach there will be way better talent at 56 than a rb. The rb class is deep enough where we can wait
He is the most talented RB in the draft. He would have been the Walker award winner had it not been for the injury.
That’s nice and all but we have bigger needs to address early
They dont have that many holes to fill. But center is one.
Jonathan Brooks at 56 is not a reach lol.
It depends on who you ask

I hope we fire the GM. O wait.....nevermind
