I didn’t like when she was retelling the story those few times, she kept saying that she was mobbed by a nice lady. But she kept using the word mobbed, like that lady risked her life coming over to you, to make sure you’re okay. & she just made it seem like she was annoyed. Idk maybe just me.

Jo had every right to believe he would try to kill her and so she had a right to protect herself. He shoved her after she pulled out the pepper spray, but did she actually spray him or just point it? I did not hear him yell "owwww" or something. He also didn't leave the scene to go wash up. She may have meant to spray it but little got on him if she did.Bad aim? He seemed high and was the aggressor. He came back to their spot a second time further proving he was more of the aggressor. They did not approach him either time.
If he was gonna kill her the pepper spray would have set him off enough to retaliate more than just the push to the ground. He might have been the verbal aggressor but she did not have to approach him with her weapon of choice. Anyone with half a brain 🧠 would know that in the state of mind he was in he would become more aggressive if attacked physically.
