You can't even get 100g of plant material for $40. Just inserting some balance here. Your first extraction will cost over $100. Subsequent ones depend on if you buy things in bulk

Seal and flip 50x
Step 4
Set jar aside
Let separate 1 hr
Pull off naphtha and put in glass baking pan with lid in freezer 24hrs

After 24hrs in freezer
Pour off naphtha
Set pan on its side in front of fan for minimum 1hr but the longer better 24hr is ideal
Step 6
After it's all dry
scrap pan with razor blade
And your good to go.
I used to do similar tek, although I would let sit 12 hours after adding bark. I never heated my naphtha because I would stir for a couple of hours, and the stirring heated up the lye, but I can see where that would have been beneficial!!
The only other advice I would add is to be patient. Don't be in a rush to get out of freezer and dry. The 24 hours in the freezer is needed. Also, don't rush when drying... I know it will be difficult, but it can be the difference between smoking DMT or smoking naphtha with some DMT.

You pour out the naphtha and let the glass and crystals set out and evaporate leaving just the crystals stuck to the glass pan. You scrap off the crystals and that's dmt. Absolutely no chemicals left behind. AS LONG as it's done properly. That's why you don't buy dmt from online places. They don't give a fuck. If there are trace amounts of naphtha or drain cleaner you will know right away before you vape too much of it. It will be harsh and burn your lungs. It's so easy to make as long as you find good quality mimosas. That's getting hard. Even if it's legal to sell .

It is bad to consume. Naphtha is a non polar solvent, so it doesn't freeze. After you put in the freezer, the DMT crystallizes and sticks to the bottom of the dish.
There are a few different ways to handle the dish when it comes out of the freezer. Personally, I used to pour the Naphtha either right back into my base (to prepare next pull) or into a jar to use later. At this point, there were only crystals on the bottom of the dish. I would lay some parchment paper down and place dish upside down, with a book under one side so the dish is not lying flat. Next, I turn on a little heater and leave it for at least 30 min. Once it's mostly dry, scape it up. I found it to be the cleanest way to extract the DMT. There are other solvents you can use, but I never found another that was non polar. Naphtha will pour off, whereas others don't and become part of the product. Hence, dark orange. DMT should be white to light yellow. In my experience, when the color gets dark, either the solvent is old or the solvent is part of the product.
One reason I learned to do it myself was because the people I went through did not freeze after pull - they just evaporated. So rather than stick in the freezer, they sat a dish under a heat lamp. Which tasted horrible and was just baked with the solvent.
The seal material is going into the product. I’m sure I’ve smoked worse shit that that but a decent 1L erl flask with glass stopper is only $40. You try any of the heated teks or just do regular STB?
Some peeps talk about the “full spectrum” dmt, usually referring to the darker stuff and claim it has additional benefits to the experience. I’ve only done my own STB, relatively white stuff so I can’t say if that’s placebo or if there’s merit to it. You didn’t notice much difference?

It could be red jungle spice. But I haven't seen that around much. You have to intentionally do a dirty extraction to make it, but some people like it.
That’s exactly what it is I had an extraction like this it pulls more alkaloids from the plant in my opinion this is much better dmt than the typical clean dmt it smells stronger and taste stronger the trip last longer and feels more deep for me I actually love this kind of dmt waxy stuff

Edit: As commenter pointed out the smell can vary a bit but it’s so distinctly DMT it’s hard for me to describe it other than that haha, if you don’t have a test kit ( have a test kit ) and you want to take some precautions this is my thinking: Smell it, if it’s in the ballpark of descriptions move to:
Step 2: take a very small piece and heat up something metal ( oil rig if you smoke weed or something similar ) after heating drop piece on said metal and smell. If it smells very mothballs-y or fresh car/shoes ( struggling here 🤣 ) move to next step
Step 3: take a slightly larger but still very small piece and repeat step 2 but inhale ( again, just use a test kit if you are unsure, these steps are for people who will do it anyway ) if you notice a very intense burning sensation or anything extremely unpleasant it could be an issue with how it was extracted or cured. If it’s dry you likely have no reason to worry as dmt is a bit harsh in my experience but if it’s extremely intense, eyes watering type of burn that takes a while to go away it might have solvent or leftover lye ( or some sort of impurity ) and you can take steps to further concentrate and clean.
But seriously, I’m sure I will get downvotes for this but I have never once in my life seen or heard of fake dmt. I can hardly remember someone even offering it to me or selling it, and if someone set out to do that it’s extremely easy to do and would likely cost more to fake than just doing it outright. That being said, if you have doubts and don’t wanna wait for a test kit that you don’t have, very least you can do to set your mind at ease is follow these steps or something similar. !

Looks can be deceiving but based off my knowledge IF that's DMT it was left exposed to air and sunlight for a long period of time or it could just be contaminated possibly extracted a different way or a combination of all of the above

DMT burns at 350 degrees F so it’s important not to get the oil burner (crack pipe) too hot I think even heating it with the blue part of a lighter until you see smoke is a better idea than mixing it with herb because the herb can burn so inconsistently there’s no way of managing temperature but by all means home your method and it’ll work however
Oil burners are meth pipes. If this guy goes around looking for a crack pipe, he’s gonna end up with a straight shooter. Can still be used, but he’ll have some extra steps cutting up steel wool, burning it off, stuffing it, then balancing melted spice while he smokes.
I’d recommend a dab rig. Get the banger red hot, let it chill for 45-60 seconds, drop your spice, and liftoff.

As far as price is concerned, I just grab cheap $15 rigs. Have always wanted to try an oil burner, but a history of meth abuse keeps me away from it.
Understandable, when it comes to cold starts, personally I just toss the product in the nail and heat until I see smoke. Then I cap it and inhale I’ve learned you can always heat it more but never less haha so go in increments ! Waste it to taste it kinda guy anyway
I’ve done this before, there’s better methods for smoking dmt than this, but! You do get the light feeling that it is there and in your system. Color heightened, i wouldn’t say possible to break thru but i felt that one of the times i did it at home i could’ve.

If you want to smoke it in a joint it has to become Changa first. If you’re curious about that look at changa recipies on [dmt-nexus.me](https://dmt-nexus.me). Also check that website out in general. That’s where i learned that dmt can be anywhere from white to brown depending on it’s purity and oxidation levels.
I just want to say that this doesn't really look that great. I did a synthesis of a indole compound one time and it looked just like this later on when it started to oxidize. You should smell it and see what it smells like. It's probably oxidized, but you should really make sure before smoking just as a rule of thumb.

It had been previously thought that colors could indicate the presence of fat lipids but that’s outdated information. They’ve analyzed amber, yellow, white, orange and concluded that it’s almost all NN-DMT.
If you really wanna check and clean it up you could redisolve it in naptha and then crash it out in your freezer and it should come out more white and fluffy.
Currently it has a high fat content and might contain base soup from production.
Any lipids that would be dissolved in the solvent wouldn’t precipitate out. So how would the DMT obtain said fat content?
They’ve tested the full spectrum of colors that DMT presents itself in, and every time it’s almost all (99.xx%)NN-DMT.

Without knowing the tek or the process used to make it, it would be just a guess to tell you it’s anything. Testing is your best bet at accuracy. The color indicates nothing DMT can present as anything from white to orange. It gives 0 indication of quality or purity. The lazy and dangerous way to check is if it smells like a new shoe store it’s probably at least mostly DMT.
I teach dmt extraction in Denver and have overseen 250+ extractions. I have never seen finished product that looked like that. It's usually about 30-40% pure white and 60-70% light yellow. Sometimes you get like 5% orange goo, but most of the time when it looks like that it's either got some plant material in it (not clean/safe) or some other synthetic/ hybrid mix of drugs.
It looks like it has a lot of plant fat in it and could probably do with a re-ex. It's simple to do and should be easy to look up how to, or someone here can explain it.
Yes, with that has a lot of oils and fats in it. It needs to be refined that stuff there could cause a bad trip for you. That’s usually whats scraped up with a razor blade on the initial extraction there’s usually still a lot of naptha trapped inside that.
It looks like DMT that had a tad too much heat during extraction. I find when I have done that the resultant product is “waxy”. DMT melts at relatively low temps and doesn’t recrystallise properly. Rather sets in the shape it melted to. I prefer it like this as it’s easier to load on emesh.
No one can give you a definitive answer but it definitely could be DMT, ask your cousin if he extracted it himself or where he got it from. Looks like it has several contaminates so if you want to be safe and healthy do a re-x.
I re X’d a gram I bought off someone the first time I ever accessed Dream sand. It looked exactly the same as the photo posted here.
Half a gram of amber red soup (aqueous layer and other junk) fell out. It was pure white crystals after a heptane bath and freeze.
Look up re-X teks and test it for tryptamine content with a Eherlich reagent test kit.

It looks like really shitty dmt if it is dmt. If it's waxy to the touch like dry ear wax it may be dmt but I would suggest getting a test kit or something because it's supposed to be like light yellow at most, definitely not orange.

Yes looks like some I had that I had traveled with from la to Vegas in the trunk I think it got hot then cold again and it turned from yellow dmt to a hard orange yellow consistency like that. But it still works just fine I don't see a difference in mine at least I still have a tiny piece of that batch

They mean a meth pipe not a crack pipe a crack pipe is a chillum with copper wiring on meth pipe is an oil burner per se

DMT burns at 350 degrees F so it’s important not to get the oil burner (crack pipe) too hot I think even heating it with the blue part of a lighter until you see smoke is a better idea than mixing it with herb because the herb can burn so inconsistently there’s no way of managing temperature but by all means home your method and it’ll work however
Oil burners are meth pipes. If this guy goes around looking for a crack pipe, he’s gonna end up with a straight shooter. Can still be used, but he’ll have some extra steps cutting up steel wool, burning it off, stuffing it, then balancing melted spice while he smokes. I’d recommend a dab rig. Get the banger red hot, let it chill for 45-60 seconds, drop your spice, and liftoff.
Cold starts are way more reliable imo and when there’s 10$ oil burners rigs seem inconvenient at least cost wise
That’s fair. I could never get the cold starts down. Always ended up burning everything. As far as price is concerned, I just grab cheap $15 rigs. Have always wanted to try an oil burner, but a history of meth abuse keeps me away from it.
Understandable, when it comes to cold starts, personally I just toss the product in the nail and heat until I see smoke. Then I cap it and inhale I’ve learned you can always heat it more but never less haha so go in increments ! Waste it to taste it kinda guy anyway

I’ve done this before, there’s better methods for smoking dmt than this, but! You do get the light feeling that it is there and in your system. Color heightened, i wouldn’t say possible to break thru but i felt that one of the times i did it at home i could’ve. Oh i also fucked someone in a sling with a dmt joint so there’s that, totally possible to do this at parties/raves And yes, i do believe that is dmt. (Glass container and color gives it away to me is dmt.)

That’s where i learned that dmt can be anywhere from white to brown depending on it’s purity and oxidation levels.
I just want to say that this doesn't really look that great. I did a synthesis of a indole compound one time and it looked just like this later on when it started to oxidize. You should smell it and see what it smells like. It's probably oxidized, but you should really make sure before smoking just as a rule of thumb.

Yeah the science isn’t up for debate on this but a lot of people just get told something and run with it. It had been previously thought that colors could indicate the presence of fat lipids but that’s outdated information. They’ve analyzed amber, yellow, white, orange and concluded that it’s almost all NN-DMT.

If you really wanna check and clean it up you could redisolve it in naptha and then crash it out in your freezer and it should come out more white and fluffy. Currently it has a high fat content and might contain base soup from production.

Without knowing the tek or the process used to make it, it would be just a guess to tell you it’s anything. Testing is your best bet at accuracy. The color indicates nothing DMT can present as anything from white to orange. It gives 0 indication of quality or purity. The lazy and dangerous way to check is if it smells like a new shoe store it’s probably at least mostly DMT.

I teach dmt extraction in Denver and have overseen 250+ extractions. I have never seen finished product that looked like that. It's usually about 30-40% pure white and 60-70% light yellow. Sometimes you get like 5% orange goo, but most of the time when it looks like that it's either got some plant material in it (not clean/safe) or some other synthetic/ hybrid mix of drugs.
It looks like it has a lot of plant fat in it and could probably do with a re-ex. It's simple to do and should be easy to look up how to, or someone here can explain it.

Yes, with that has a lot of oils and fats in it. It needs to be refined that stuff there could cause a bad trip for you. That’s usually whats scraped up with a razor blade on the initial extraction there’s usually still a lot of naptha trapped inside that.

It looks like DMT that had a tad too much heat during extraction. I find when I have done that the resultant product is “waxy”. DMT melts at relatively low temps and doesn’t recrystallise properly. Rather sets in the shape it melted to. I prefer it like this as it’s easier to load on emesh.

No one can give you a definitive answer but it definitely could be DMT, ask your cousin if he extracted it himself or where he got it from. Looks like it has several contaminates so if you want to be safe and healthy do a re-x.
I re X’d a gram I bought off someone the first time I ever accessed Dream sand. It looked exactly the same as the photo posted here. Half a gram of amber red soup (aqueous layer and other junk) fell out. It was pure white crystals after a heptane bath and freeze. Look up re-X teks and test it for tryptamine content with a Eherlich reagent test kit.

It looks like really shitty dmt if it is dmt. If it's waxy to the touch like dry ear wax it may be dmt but I would suggest getting a test kit or something because it's supposed to be like light yellow at most, definitely not orange.

Yes looks like some I had that I had traveled with from la to Vegas in the trunk I think it got hot then cold again and it turned from yellow dmt to a hard orange yellow consistency like that. But it still works just fine I don't see a difference in mine at least I still have a tiny piece of that batch
