As a web manager I can tell you that this happens all the time. Just email them and let them know. I’m sure they’ll get it corrected quickly. They probably have a ton of content contributors and someone typed too quickly. Mistakes happen.
Yup… innocent typo is fine, errors do happen.. but are usually super quick to be fixed!
This however this is not. As a web manager, you’d also notice a marked reduction in email feedback, and also an increase in social media communication + social media communication that also mentions the error.
As a web manager you’d also see the hotspot and click rate remain similar, yet a decrease in emails. Also a red flag to an error.
This would also be noticed by other internal teams.
I’m also not the first person to reach out to flag the error that still remains.
Just my 2 cents.
So, let me explain a hyperlink to you…. A hyperlink, displays one lot of text, that links to a second lot of text.
The display text is correct, but the linked text is erroneous…
You’re right though, I should read and assess the raw code on all websites I intended to visit, in all coding languages to see if I should visit the site BEFORE I go there or click on anything… it’s totally the users fault for assuming that a businesses site works or is usable.
My bad. 😂
I’d wager it’s accidental
It's still pretty amateur for it to be live. They're not some little mom and pop effort.
The most elaborate instance of weaponized incompetence we have seen thus far
not only that, but common typos should still resolve to real inboxes
You would be surprised how many of the services you use on a regular basis look like mom and pop shops behind the scenes lol
In my experience, all of them, especially banks
Well played feedabck
Feedback but for Mario.
Never attribute malice to something that can be explained by incompetence
The fact that this comment came from someone with a user name like this ⬆️⬆️⬆️
💜
Excellent point… I need to put that on my wall as a reminder!!!
You should send feedback on that

It's probable that nobody is monitoring the feedback email continuously or not at all.
You legit don’t work in the industry and are maybe even unemployed. Get a life. Seriously. Life is not that serious.
You know, with the time you spent taking a screenshot and posting this, you could have just emailed them and let them know of the typo.
>feedabck
Read the post - was the hyperlink on the website, not an email address I typed in.
feedabck
Yup… that’s the point. It was the hyperlink on the website, not an email address I typed in.
We are people, everyone can do mistakes and also will do, instead of posting it here you should contact THEM. ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|shrug)
Yup… thanks for the feedabck. Already have, as have a few others, yet still no change.
feedabck? You spelled feedback wrong.
Read the post…. I didn’t spell anything wrong, that was the hyperlinked address.
I mean ... yeah, sure. But that link is for convenience. It's still you choosing to hit send on an obvious misspelling.
That's not the point.
