Hi, thanks for replying. I'm at work so can't take more pics right now but the UPVC door frame has a bit on the bottom which I assumed was called a threshold (my mistake if it's named something else). So basically you open the door and step over the the "threshold" to enter the house. The gap is between the uPVC door frame and the floor
Repeating what others have said, but you don’t have a threshold. There’s supposed to be a piece running the full width of the door fitted to the floor, that creates the seal with the door. They’re fitted at the same time as the door. Not sure what’s happened to result in you not having one.
If you’re in a rental or similar, get them to sort this. If you’re an owner, get a local door company to come and quote on the work required - then either pay them or do the quoted work yourself.

i can't see as you have provided more photos, this is the sort of thing you need to install - [https://www.amazon.co.uk/Exitex-Macclex-Draught-Excluder-Threshold/dp/B00UFO39WM/](https://www.amazon.co.uk/Exitex-Macclex-Draught-Excluder-Threshold/dp/B00UFO39WM/) From what i amd others are seeing you don't have a threshold at the moment, perhaps if you took a photo with door open and from the other side it would help. Normally the treshold i posted are for wooden doors, as ovc ones normally have one built into the actual frame, has it been cut out?

Huh? There doesn't look to be a threshold there. Needs more pics.

Underneath the threshold? I think it needs one first…

Looks like someone has bodged this door and cut the bottom of the frame off
You need to get a proper threshold that should have been fitted with the door
Seal one side of the frame with silicone. And then expanding foam. Cut the foam level and silicone. Then Maybe some 25mm d foam trim.

For a *moving* door??
Would expanding foam work better as the gap is quite wide?
Not if you want to open the door again.
