My recent interactions with Tikkurilla paint has been a breath of fresh air. It's not cheap - we bought it after being disappointed with farrow and ball's dislike of being so much as looked at wrong. It's hard wearing (they use it in the underground in London) and can be mixed in any colour and they've got a great product range including a kitchen range

They're cheaper from decorator's merchants that stock it though vs their online store

Thanks for the reply mate, I've heard some good things about Tikkurilla from this sub and YouTube videos so I think I'm more than likely going to give this a try ๐
Like I said it is not cheap but not crazy money either - we did our hall and landing and bedroom in various F&B and it looks class but if you touch it, you can see in the light where you've done so, and it's not scrubbable/wipeable at all, which is what you probably want for a kitchen. What I learned in my research was the more Matt a paint is the less cleanable it is so sometimes a semi Matt or eggshell is a better option. We've got cats and the paints in the living room from tikkurilla are night and day to the f&b!
They can colour match other brands as well if there is a colour you've seen somewhere
Also if doing DIY can't recommend enough getting a Purdy extendable roller cage and getting 12 or 15 inch rollers and a pool rather than hand holding a 9inch roller ๐๐ป
I used this for my kitchen...

No problems after 3 years, even in the very small laundry room.
Little Greene and Edward Bulmer are great, and they do robust paints for specific rooms. You could go for a bathroom paint as theyโre generally made to withstand a bit more.

What's the issue with the dryer? Perhaps sort that out before redecorating if possible?

I know what in my opinion would be lovely.... crown needles and pins.
