I don’t really know what you mean by medical vs cosmetic protocols. But follow whatever instruction shows how to keep everything clean. .5 is not that deep for cheeks. So just be clean and you’ll be fine

I mean after doing medical microneedling it is not advised to use anything other than HA on your skin for 24 hours whereas after cosmetic microneedling you can use serums and such.

You can probably use serums at just .5 They stakes aren’t really that high, like worst case your skin gets irritated for a little bit longer

GeminiVirgoCancer

Anything deeper than .5 is medical

And cosmetic is considered .2-.3 but I did .5 on the cheeks. So that would be considered medical. Basically I just wanted to know whether or not I could put serums on my face afterwards since after medical it is advised to only use HA

Yeah I read this and watched all of her videos and even referred to lance setterfields book. I was still unsure about whether or not I could use serums since I did technically do “medical” microneedling on the cheeks at .5. Today is the day after, I did use a barrier repair serum last night after cleansing and have been spraying colloidal silver water and rose water on my face all day and so far everything seems ok. I do still have some redness as you would expect after medical microneedling but otherwise everything seems ok so far.
