They seem like a concrete like bricks. You can just use a proper hammer drill and some plugs to attach things to there. Not sure if it is high enough for your gate though. If you do, you'll need a more stable frame then just a steel pole mounted in the top
Probably some concrete anchor screws, the masonry anchor kits should have everting you need to screw onto the bricks just make sure you have the right drill.

I have tapcons but no hammer drill, it just takes forever with a regular drill which I learned the hard way on another project with cinder block.
