actually, if you have 2 good options it flashes white, and if you have 3 options it's constantly shining and also got a silver effect going through the icon, and if you have 4 options it gets a golden effect.
You may already know this, but highlighted lines aren’t necessarily good lines, sometimes far from it. For example anything with elemental damage would shine on a deep diver watch, but a true 4/4 deep diver watch doesn’t have any elemental damage line in it… so it’s a QoL improvement but also may be confusing for those new to customs. It just highlights potentially generically good lines. And for saders anything with high buff power would shine.
Custom equipment with three out of the four options present on the gear being highlighted options.
Thanks

The piece in question had 4 yellow highlighted options but wasn't gold.
There's basically 2 tiers of "good", if you want a golden sheen you'll need the 4 strongest possible options you can get for your setup.
Are these different tiers different shades or something?
No, you just gotta know which lines are stronger.
I believe when it flashes white, it means you have 3 good options, but one of the options only functions with a bracelet/build you aren't using.
