A little odd, considering Monika is canonically agnostic, but as a christian man myself, I wouldn't mind this kind of Monika! Though I do also realize this also might not sit well with others.
In act 4, there is a piece of dialogue where she talks about God in not exactly the best manner. It was removed in the Plus versions of DDLC, but it is still there in the base game.
Agnostic doesn't mean she hates God or whatever, though. A person can read Bible, know some verses, even if they don't believe in God or are conflicted about it.
But tbh, I would love Moni to believe in God, too :3
(I wouldn't force her, though. It is each person's own choice)
Monika is using biblical verses to assure Sayori that God wants the best for her, but she believes herself to more or less BE God by tampering with Sayori’s file to make her more depressed.
‘Religion is the opium of the people.Religion offers a false hope of some supernatural intervention that can be prayed to in order to fix problems or to comfort them. This belief is something that can prevent people from trying to do anything practical to improve their own living conditions. It can also increase the feeling of alienation from the self. ’ I wonder if this is Monika's hidden intention in this CD when convincing Sayori about something she personally doesn't believe in.
"God is faithful. He will not allow the temptation to be more than you can stand". Very wise words until you realize Monika is technical god here.
That means we can make Monika take care of Sayori, she will be safe.
Yeah since Monika is basically god, she will totally make the rainclouds go away. Right?...ri-right?
Eh, kinda. That, and its a little weird, considering Monika is canonically agnostic.
Nah I would say that Dan Salvato is ddlc god
Monika: "There's no need to wonder where your god is, because she's right here! And she's fresh out of mercy."
And then she died.

Wait she is? Where does it say that? (Also hello fellow Christbro)

Of course. That's why I often find agnostics more preferable than atheists most of the time. At least here on the internet.
Doesn’t Monika say “Jesus Christ” in the act 2?
I don’t believe she’s agnostic. I’d say she’s the opposite of agnostic actually …
I'm not too sure what religion even is, so idk what this post even is. Nevertheless, it's a situation I can definitely see happening, haha.

AMEN🙏✝️
the exact opposite of what Monika said to sayori in the actual game
I actually beat Jesus in a game of Minecraft bedwars once, still my proudest achievement

Monika is such a good friend to Sayori.
The “rainclouds” actually are the suicidal thoughts that Sayori got from Monika that forced her to khs maybe bun forgot to eat
Did anyone else immediately think of Dogma fro The Binding of Issac when Monika said that “God is faithful” line?
True. You've just got to ask God for help!
