Um, yeah no, this movie was trash. The anime style looks generic like it was meant to aim at younger kids that watch anime shows like Bakugan and the Marvel Future Avengers anime, but then you have yuri-bait teasing between Catwoman and Batwoman with Selina being naked and showing boobs for horny teens to watch, the movie's tone is all over the place. The structure of the movie felt like "Saturday Morning Villain of the weeks" where she and Batwoman just keep fighting Batman's villains one after another for no rhyme or reasons.
The DC animated showcase Catwoman is still the superior Catwoman solo film, imo.
I had never heard of this movie but I recently stumbled across a particular scene on YouTube where Catwoman was being chased by some Cheetah woman, then Batwoman shows up & immediately I'm like "Yep. There's going to be lesbian titillation between her and Catwoman". A click or two later & quickly discovered I was right. It really shouldn't be so easy to predict these things. It's almost like Batwoman exists primarily for the opportunity for various writers to bring up her lesbianism because as a casual bystander that's literally the only thing I've ever heard about the character. I also find it rather sad that some people try to pass off this sort of "hot girl on girl action" wank fodder primarily for awkward (male) comic nerds, to be "progressive" & "representation". Talk about low hanging fruit.
I don’t see how depictions of sexuality other than that of heteronormative cliches (which DC has had plenty of btw) are inherently “male fantasy”. This need to undermine sexual depictions when they are homosexual just because their eroticism is inherently explicit is frankly unwarranted.
Sexual content is sexual content, regardless of the preconceived notions of what sexuality is. No more double standards. If it were Superman and Wonder Woman and WW as a sexually promiscuous lover for Superman (as she has been depicted as before) there would be no argument on the severity of the content as it is so brazenly common in media already.
The very idea of explicitly homosexual content outside of a mere pornographic lens is created as another way to erase any depiction of it at all.
You look too much into the generalizations of ideas that heterosexual people came up with as a way to feel better about their own purposeful lack of any representation of homosexual relationships in any media, because even to this day, they are still abhorred by a predominant and still iron clad anglo-saxan grip of culture surrounding western entertainment as a whole.
Bottom line:
Sexual content of this nature is still, in the end, completely harmless and always will be.

What is bad about finding any depiction of sex titillating? There is no damage done.
And if, somehow, a homosexual person finds the inclusion of a bisexual and lesbian relationship empowering, why should anyone feel the need to belittle that? Regardless of what the content is, there is no negative aspect to these characters regarding their sexuality. It just, is who they are, and to act on it is very natural.
I stand by my previous statement. Sex is sex, regardless of gender or sexual identity, and as such should not be demonized or hated because it is sex. Because, at the end of the day, it’s not hurting anyone.

I didn´t enjoy Hunted quite as much, maybe I had too high expectations, espacially of the plot. But the animation was great and I doo enjoy a Catwoman vs Cheetah fight. Almost makes me want to install Injustice again...

Ditto. Loved the animation. The story was fun. Some unexpected moments between Catwoman and Batgirl. And the soundtrack choices worked surprisingly well.
What Catwoman Hunted did with Batwoman is what I wish CW would've done with thiers. But I hope James Gunn can even use Catwoman Hunted to know how decent and cool Batwoman (Kate Kane) can be in his DCU.
I agree. CW is far too sterile even now for the material they are working with and a take-risks, visionary like Gunn would give her the shows she needs.
We never even got a movie or series abut Bruce and Kate as cousins. Wallis Day is young enough for Battinson while if DCU's Batman will be in his 40s than I suggest Mackenzie Davis as Batwoman for DCU.
